Ok here goes...if your inclined to do so wish me luck...

Describing myself is not one of my favorite activities. That said, I'm a nice guy, perhaps too much so, a bit of a geek and absolutely honest when I do feel comfortable enough to divulge personal information. Therefore, this becomes an act of some determination on my part.

I'm 38 (but look younger), divorced and still best friends with my ex-wife. We always were better friends then a married couple sadly. I liked being married. I miss it. No kids.

The whole divorce process caused me to make alot of changes in my life. I started working out, got a new job and began to explore other interests...such as brings me here.

I'm an artist and a writer. I love to create and tell stories, as well as hear them. If I could get paid to have entertaining conversations I would probably be quite wealthy at this point.

I'm not sure what else to say at this point. My profile on the site is a fairly accurate representation of my hobbies and such. Ah, there is one more thing...

I know I'm the new guy but this site feels far more intimidating then I expected. Many of the young, dominant women who post personals seem almost...unhappy with doing so. It certainly doesn't feel very warm and friendly when your looking through a search.  I have a good friend whose a Pro Domme and I've never met anyone more excepting or kind. Granted that's probably thanks to the numerous bone headed men who email foolish want ads for sex at them or the like, but I still was hoping for something more akin to an excepting environment where we all discuss what we're into. Maybe this board is that place.

Take care,
LGD

Hi and welcome,
Don't worry most of the people are pretty nice that I've had the chance to talk to. Just say postive. [:)]

hello and welcome.
it always seems as though a person is the new one here but that is the beauty of always meeting new people.
there are always more new people to meet.
as you get to know more and more people, your experiences will grow.
there are always new things to learn here.
the more you post messages to people, the faster your vanilla icecream cone will go away.  it will keep being replaced by new icons as time goes by.
i think it takes around 30 posts each for the icons to change... keep posting and meeting.
i wish you the best.

Thank you for your kind replies. I'm both curious and cautious enough in the right amounts to believe I will enjoy my experience here.

Talk to you all soon,
LGD
