“The Empty Road??” Part 12
The glare from my eyes, tell a story from long ago, but I am still focused on the Professors movements.
His hands shaking lightly, I speak.
“You have caused enough damage don’t you think?
The making of the Vampities, and now altering their bodies!”
Holding the Needle tighter he says.
“Look I was paid to do a job, and that was all!”
“What! Make a species that you thought no one would be able to kill?”
“Yes we did not anticipate you learning to be able to read minds.
Thus being able to know how to destroy them.”
I stay6 focused.
“But now the Vampities can die, it’s just they will not be destroyed, like I was able to do before?”
“Yes you catch on, but with this new Formula they will never die and they will rule the World! {he, he} I also know what your thinking, but I’ve been reassured that my life will be spared!
Ms. Scarlett and I will live our lives out together in harmony.
Oh does that Surprise you?”
Watching his hands, and his eyes.
“I don’t care about Her! I only care about getting my life back, and that is all.”
“Perhaps you care a little bit more about Mz. Red then?”
Suddenly a part of the wall slides open, and there chained to the wall is Mz. Red.
“I believe that the two of you know one another?
Mz. Red is electronically chained to the wall. If you try to remove Her restraints, 600 volts will rip thru Her lower half!”
I look at them both and say.
“You people just don’t get it do you? I’m only here to get my life back. Nothing more! As for Mz. Red She has made Her own bed.
There is no time for forgiveness, what has been done is done!”
Just then an image from my past comes by my mind. It was only for a second, but the Professor had stuck the needle into Dr. Fennimore’s neck. Before I can react, The Professor is gone.
Just then Dr. Fennimore falls to the ground, and his body starts to twitch. I race towards him, but Mz. Red says.
“ Don’t! Don’t touch him. His body is toxic. One touch from him, and it will eat your skin!”
I look at Her and say.
“Why? Why should I trust You, You’ve caused me enough pain and sorrow. Maybe if I don’t touch him, he will vaporize
and kill me anyways?”
Looking as if now She cared, She says.
“You mean kill us?”
I look at Her as if I don’t know Her.
“What is this we stuff? I never asked for any of this.
I had a life before all this, and then you took it away from me!
I never knew that any of this stuff existed till I met You.
Especially the bondage thing, that at first was creepy, although
I must admit that the touch of Your hand was exhilarating to me!
Ok so If I’m to believe You, then what?”
Waiting for Stingray to undo Her locks, She says.
“I should just let You die here and rot, but I am a peaceful man and I am not that cruel,”
Just then the door opens up and Ms. Scarlett appears.
“Well what do we have here? I hoped you where going to kill Mz. Red. I’m glad to see you’re going to do just that.”
Before Mz. Red can talk Ms. Scarlett takes a piece of duck tape and places it over Her mouth.
Then while leaning towards me, She whispers in my ears as She says.
“Soon we will be together, just the 2 of us. Just finish Her off and you and I will be together as one!”
As She is speaking my mind is focusing on Mz. Red.
I am beginning to read Her thoughts.
“Ms. Salene Violate is none other then Ms. Scarlett.
Either way you where going to die, whether by Her or by me!
That is why you would have never found Her in the lair.
That antidote that you gave Her only made Her stonger!
She will fight you till the end, and you can’t just wound Her,
You will have to kill Her!”
Just then I feel the bite of teeth sink into my neck!
I become weak and very tired.
Was this the end for me, would I never see the Sun rise, or the
Moon set again?
