Answer to OP:

At 5'3" it isn't hard to find a man taller than myself but as a personal preference, yes, I do prefer tall men. That is not saying I won't look at a shorter man and drool... I just drool more over the taller ones.

As a tall woman (6'1), I have always preferred tall men. However, as a Dominant, I have learned to appreciate the finer qualities of men of any height. Physical stature doesn't make the man or the woman. Integrity, heart, compassion, honesty etc......look for those features and you won't go wrong.

Men of a shorter stature that I encounter don't feel the need to compensate for thier lack of height with me because their station is that of sub or slave generally.

LMAO....(I've felt that way on occasion), Although i have had a couple of lovely relationships with men shorter than i am (i'm 5'10), Dominant men that are several inches taller than me seem to enhance my submission in a very primal way.

Hhhmmm...I'm 4'10 1/2". Yes, that half an inch is very important to me. Please don't knock it. *laughs* I prefer men that are taller than me. If they're my height or shorter...I'm not quite as comfortable. I prefer them tall and somewhat meaty...I don't do well with sticks. When they're tall, and just loom over me...(my husband is about 6ft.) it reminds me that he is man...he is over me, and he is, more often that not, much stronger than me (until I hit the ticklish spot...then the kill is MINE!! *cue evil, maniacal, sinister laugh HERE*).

Actually, I'm normal height. Pretty much anyone else way taller than me, of course, are just genetically mutated, growth-hormone injected aliens from another plant that are out to dominate the world by looking over the heads of the humanfolk.

At work I do feel tall a good portion are more vertically challenged than I am when they only reach the higth of my chin I do feel ratler towering hehehehehe

Didn't read the whole thread.... Just wanted to make a couple of quick comments.

First of all..... Love the name.... Love it, love it, love it. Long live hair pulling!

Second, I'm 5'2", so I've never had an issue with the height of My subs. Really doesn't matter to Me, since how tall one is has no consequence when upon their knees.

Third, I've heard the phrase from a friend in the past, as She would only accept inqiries from tall men..... Just like the amusement park...... You must be at least this tall to ride this ride.

Height wouldn't make a difference to me. I had a couple of girlfriends (in vanilla relationships) one was 5'1" and was extremely Dominant and also dated a lady who was 6'3" and she was submissive. oh btw, i'm 5'11"

i'm 5'2". on a good day. if i stand REAL tall. *grins* on bad days, i use the wheelchair, and am considerably shorter. of course then, i'm "perfect height" or so i've been told... ;)

taller men are pretty much what i run into. wolf is 5'5", Sir is 5'10". i used to (long LONG ago) see a man who was 6'8".

its the person inside that matters to me, not so much the packaging in which they arrive.

kitten, who is fairly sure we're all the same height lying down..

I am also spatially challenged. I am short, at 5'4. Both my boys are 6'4. I prefer my boys taller than me, usually in the 5'10 -6'8 area and petite. Both my boys are also very thin. The only downside to my pretty beanpoles is that they dont do well sitting in my lap. Angel tries, but it doesnt always work well.

yep, this is definitely one of my quirks. I am 5'6", and I can not/will not get involved with any males under 5'10" or any females under 5'7". I enjoy being shorter and smaller than my partners, and I would feel quite out of place indeed to be on eye level with a dominant.

about 5' -5'1" here, most everyone is taller than me, not an issue

however there is just something about a tall drink of water.... 6'2" or better... WOW
