I bought some tea tree oil shampoo recently at my local GNC and while doing so also a bottle of tea tree oil itself. I was told how it can help an irritated vagina when used in dilution with water so since I have a very sensitive system I thought to give it a chance. Most times after sex, I become a bit irritated so I used it very diluted on a nice warm wash cloth and while it did give me a really warm (not burning) feeling it did soothe the affected area. I also learned it helps with such things as, dry cracked skin of the feet, dry scalp, boils, etc. It is definately worth looking into.

Tea Tree oil indeed is a very useful natural remedy for many skin irritations.

Not to sound critical of your post but most oils that are sold at health food shops are distiled with turpentine under high heat and high pressure. The chemical constituents are destroyed in that process.I wouldn't put those any were near my submissives bits. Just because of the delicate nature of the PH etc. The only oils that I'm aware of that don't use those methods are these http://www.youngliving.us/US/products.asp and yes tea tree oil (Melaleuca) is great stuff but always dilute it because it is very caustic.

I use tea tree oil for toenail fungus. It hasn't cured it but it has kept it from worsening and spreading to other toes.
