My name is linda and I am married to my Master Ed since this past Oct. We had what you might call a bit of a vanilla/kinky wedding ceremony. It was held on Halloween in our back yard and everyone was dressed in costume. We wrote our own vows which included how we would live our lives within the D/s lifestyle and our minister was the owner of Shadowfind Bed and Breakfast in Niles, MI. If you've never heard of it, it is a Lifestyler Bed and Breakfast that caters to those who want to get away and play.
Master is 57 and I am 49. We met online through alt.com. Probably one of the few that worked out. We talked online and the phone for over a year before we finally met and then dated for over 2 years before getting married.
We have both been in previous D/s marriages to spouses who at some point turned to drugs or alcohol to rule their lives and tore our relationships apart.
For the most part we live normal (whatever normal is LOL) everyday lives with 2 grown daughters and a granddaughter living at home. So playtime can be hard at times. But the kids know that when the music is loud.....DON'T bother us LOL.
Master has currently started making dungeon furniture in the garage and would like to start selling it to those who may be interested.
We would also like to start a monthly munch group on the south side of Chicago. We have been to others...........one is waaaaaay north and the other being right around Midway. The one up north is good but way too far to travel and the Midway one just doesn't seem so fill our needs as far as a munch group.
We would like to see meetings once a month that include a specific topic for discussion. I am currently looking for a place that would allow us a couple of hours each month to meet that is reasonably priced.
So that's a bit about me......... linda

Hi and welcome to the forums at CM!

Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle!

Congrats on your new life and good luck to both of you.

I run a local munch here in NY, and the way we do it is start a yahoo group and the list is mainly used for the munches and is tightly controlled and we have a group of about 25 or 30 regulars who met once a month on a sunday for dinner.

So find a diner or other place that can accomodate a larger group as your group grows. Good luck!
