i am just curious as to why so many of the black Dom's profiles i see online state they are sadists.  Anyone care to explain?

The same reason most white doms are sadists. Most dominant people on a kink site are sadistic as well. Most submissive people on a kink site are either masochistic or enjoy being used for their partner's pleasure even if the activity doesn't in itself turn them on.

Please keep in mind that sadism can mean different things to different people.
 
Some only associate it with the physical; others with emotional and psychological; and still others with the sensual. And then you have those who incorporate all aspects into one.
 
Also, you don't have to be a masochist to enjoy being with a sadist.

That question is about as uninformed as asking, "Why are so many whites living a life of privilidge?"  Neither has any basis in validity, does it?  Or...?

I really could not say. I have never seen an accurate survey that showed the numbers of white against black.
 
Personally, I don't hold either very high in accuracy simply because some who truly are sadistic don't list themselves as such; no matter what color their skin is.

Skin color and gender have nothing do with orientation; nor with personality [:)] 

Maybe you are just reading the wrong profiles.

i want to apologize for my stupid question.  i guess it was out of frustration as i was looking at black Dom profiles and that was what i seem to encounter on so many ones i was interested in and i am not masochist in the least.  Like i said it was stupid and i do apologize.

Neither am I and neither is he. And it was just as hard finding a white nonsadistic dom as you appear to be having. You would not believe the number of idiots who sent emails saying they would train me to be a pain slut. It's never going to happen.

However I'm a bondage freak and from what I've observed there's a definite division between people who do bondage for it's own sake and people who want to hurry up and get the restrainsts over with to get to the 'fun' part. For me being tied up IS the fun part.

All you can do is say you want a sensualist not a sadist. But keep reading profiles and if you see someone who appeals, you email them.

It is funny because I seamed to of had just as hard of a time finding a truly sadistic Dom who was not afraid to make me hurt for him. That being said I don't really think it matters what side of the fence your on. Searching for a compatible partner is a difficult task for all involved.

I can't address the profiles of black doms but I did read of a case of a White submissive woman who was warned by her fellow subbies not to visit a black dom in, IIRC, Colorado, they said he loved to beat White women. Well she went and ended up in the emergency room, at which a ER physician told her to "get help." In this particular case it appeared that racial hatred was at the root of this dom's dealing with White subs.
There are dangerous people of all races in the BDSM world, just think of Slavemaster a murderous piece of feces who was White.
