"Does circumcision affect your sex life? Scientists are divided"

Wed Apr 25, 2:20 PM ET

" PARIS (AFP) - Two studies have thrown up conflicting evidence as to whether circumcision could harm a man's sex life, New Scientist reports in its next issue.

The question is especially important, given the World Health Organisation's (WHO's) recent endorsement of circumcision in the panoply of weapons to tackle the spread of  AIDS. "

unequivacably no!!!! personal experience!!!! In fact the exposure makes it rather more sensitive!

Just as stupd as the fallacy that vasectomy affects your sex life. Really it does... you stop worrying about getting everyone pregnant, and the ladies are ever so more relaxed with you for exactly the same reason. They can relax and enjoy the pleasure without the constant nagging worry of an unwanted unmentionable.

It does not.  You can get as many circumcisions as you want that it won't affect my sex life!

if i wanted to rummage around to find the 'surprise' inside, i'd buy a box of cracker jacks[;)] i practically vomit everytime i go near an uncircumsized package; asthetics alone are reason enough for me to say no thanks to the uncircumsized man...

still wondering how they're trying to use the information to deal with the issue of the spread of aides though.

As another who has,I would have to disagree with your thoughts,I feel no sensitivity whatsoever,it makes me feel would it be better if I was uncircumcised. Not my choice,It was done near birth for whatever reasons the medics had.Sex as I have had,is not very enjoyable on my part, though I try for the other party,as I do care.

my Mate is uncut, and i love it that way. i don't require spit or lube if i want to rub on it. there is a hazard of rough sex, however. we once tore the tissue that holds the foreskin and well, we've been more careful since that night. maybe it's just me, but genitals are about as attractive as ears in my book. E/everyones' got 'em, and they all look strange...oh, and they can be pierced.
i've given some brain cells over to the matter and decided that only a man should decide if or if not he wants his body modified by circumcissum.
i don't know if the uncut penis is more prone to std's, we've never had that issue in our world. all penises that have unprotected sex are prone to std's...
justs my thoughts on the matter-   Phoenix

Over the years the glans of the circumcized penis suffers from what is called superficial epithelization, meaning that the mucosa of the glans becomes more like skin, thus loses a bit of sensitivity.  Also the frenulum (the membrane that attaches the foreskin to the glans is removed during circumcision --we also have a frenulum under the tongue, so you get the idea what it is) and this little piece of skin is rich in nerves.  Stretching of the frenulum (like when one exposes the glans on an uncircumcised penis) is really very pleasant, and doing it repeatedly can make you cum.  The problem for many men is that their frenulum is short and nobody teaches them how to stretch it while masturbating, so when they start having sexual relationships it is painful and it may tear a little (that is one factor that helps transmitting HIV virus) .
an extremely short frenulum causes phimosis, where you can not completely expose the glans.
Here is a pic of a short frenulum (WARNING, PICTURE OF A PENIS! LOL) http://www.circumstitions.com/Images/Glossary/frenulum-breve.jpg

Now my thought: most men got circumcized at birth.  And a good sex life depends on oh so many things!  I dont think there is a difference for them, since they don't know any other sensation that the one that they are actually experiencing.

oh, so that's what we tore,,,lol, His has a knot on it now. i felt bad cuz it was my fault, we told the tale to my ob/gyn and he said my vagina was too small, it was immature compared to the rest of my body, and until my body "adjusted" to my Mate/Husband's size that we had to be careful... one of those moments you look back on and lauph at, W/we were teenagers at the time...

i'm sure it wasn't meant to. some people don't like vaginas, but that doesn't bother me. some people don't like any form of penis. we've A/all got oppinions and preferences. Life Happens, and aren't we glad it does? hope this can help- phoenix

I am happy with my partner's uncut penis. I do not want to go back to a cut penis now- there is so much less fun when all that nice foreskin is gone!! And oh yes, it is sooooo sensitive too!!! As for the person complaining about aesthetics, a vagina is not exactly the prettiest thing in the world either, and I think a woman would be quite offended to hear a man say he is about to vomit on seeing her labia.

What else can i say but DITTO!!!!  Most of my partners have been significantly older than me and nearly all of them have been uncircumcised (don't know if there's a correlation or not).  i didn't have a preference either way, just all of them happened to be that way.  After so much experience with that, i think i'd find it a bit weird to go back...lol...it's not a problem at all......slave luci
