"Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?"
"Stacy's mom isn't the only older woman who's got it goin' on"

" Benjamin Franklin, wise in so many ways, knew all this more than 200 years ago.
In his famous “Old Mistresses Apologue,” a letter ostensibly written to a younger man who wanted to avoid marriage, Franklin advised a turn to older women for sexual comfort “because as they have more Knowledge of the World and their Minds are better stor’d with Observations, their Conversation is more improving and more lastingly agreable … ” And as far as old Ben — who was, let’s face it, a rake — was concerned, an older woman could provide sexual pleasure at least on a par with younger women, and probably more.

More magazine’s Johnson says something that rings true; that for all the beauty and freshness of younger women, many still have fears. Fear drives them to compete with each other and with the men in their lives for power, control, love.

When men admire an older woman, they see somebody free of all that. They see a friend, companion and a sexy adventurer. "

It's more about the attitude and outlook versus the age.

I  totally agree with the supposition of the article. Always been more attracted to older women, myself.

That picture of Ellen Barkin they're using is a bit...er...botox-y, though.

i have said this before and i will say it once again, i normally cant submit to someone my own age. At my age, they rarely can Dominant their own life, let alone me.

LadyEllen -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/27/2007 6:03:28 PM)

Age has proven very important in my case. It is beyond any doubt whatsoever that I get far more compliments and approaches from men since I was 35, than I ever did before. Which is hardly surprising really.

Although the effects of alcohol intake and myopia in my suitors should perhaps not be ruled out entirely.

I must say this makes me feel better about getting older. :)

Age has never been a problem. In fact I do find many subs desire "older" women because they feel  we do have more exprience.

LustyVampInMn -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/28/2007 8:00:40 AM)

aging has given me more confidence, wisdom and just plain guts to go after what i need. in my forties i have learned to be content within myself and not really give a damn what others think. my features have softened.. along with my ass.. but what's a girl to do :).

LaTigresse -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/28/2007 8:09:28 AM)

Tomorrow I turn 45 and I have not one, not even hidden down deep, negative thought about it.

Granted my body isn't what it was 20 years ago but the reality is, I do not care. Twenty years ago I was clueless. Thinking now I am pretty sure that with all I have going on now, add that 25 year old body, I would be positively lethal![:D] (and no one could stand me cuz my head wouldn't fit thru a doorway........)

SunNMoon -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/28/2007 8:36:04 AM)

To me, there's much more sex appeal in a woman's mind than her body. [&:]

The mind of an older woman is typically far more developed in that it's had much more use and experience than that of a younger woman.  But "older" and "younger" are all relative, especially to a man approaching 50. [;)]

PenetratingGaze -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/28/2007 5:14:53 PM)

A woman doesn't even start to come into Her own in the looks department until 25. That also is when most people actually start developing a brain. Mistress is 15 years older than I, and I wouldn't have it any other way. People still think She is in Her 30s-40s though, Mistress has the best of both worlds, I guess. >sigh< I am so blessed to be owned by Her.

okay, stop gagging folks.

Einzelganger -> RE: "Sex appeal: What's age got to do with it?" (4/28/2007 11:54:46 PM)

I enjoy the mental maturity of women over 30, and some that are a little under 30.  There are no games, they're not worried about impressing me...they're SO much more fun to talk to, be around, etc. than most women my age.  Then again, I've never gotten along well with many people my age, of either sex, since I was young. *shrugs*  I suppose I'm just looking for someone with a certain mental age, rather than a physical age.
