might be a bit better for wherever you reside... and as I work with models/photographers as my dayjob having a good portfolitio helps... but if its out of your travel area/budget... its easier to advertise in the areas that you reside...
or even start up your own site in the UK... I run a few "alt" sites in the US and stay on the road shooting models quite a bit (1-3 weekends a month) so try that and see what you can do...
ps - modelmayhem are nazi's as I've had 3 profiles deleted there (and about 20+ on myspace) so depending on what you advertise will be able to help you more so...
