What is it that turns you on? What triggers your control? Is it something specific, or a whim? For me, it is a man involved. I will not let him dominate. No disrespect, just experience that leads me to this conclusion. How about you?

I think half the time it’s a whim, because I have no idea why I’m just in the mood for one or the other. Then some days I’m talking with Love and he just says the right thing and I’m submissive or dominant just like that. Or I read or see something and all I can think about is trying it out.

I do know that if someone wants me to be submissive to them, without me getting to dominant them first, it results with me being in the biggest dominant mood. This seems to apply mostly to men; and ends up being a funny like talk about my switchness.

I use the label switch to let people know I am open to go both ways. What turns me on is the moment and the person. I am more into that than who is on top. Specific things can get me going like being bent over or giving oral. It can also vary with mood and whim. I consider myself 80% Dom and 20% sub. I was about to write that I am very particular about who I sub to, but as I think about it that is misleading. I am just as particular about who I Dom. I think it is a matter of presenting myself as a Dom until I feel comfortable with an individual. Then I will consider being intimate, including exposing my soft subbie underbelly.

For some time, I used to have a Dom profile on here. It wasn't misleading, with most people that's the dynamic that feels natural. However, there are times this isn't the case.

I suppose my own factor tends to be experience. Anyone I'm with that I feel I have more experience than, I tend to be dominant with. Vice versa, the otherwise.

its hard for me to pin it down. Sometimes its just as simple as a kiss or bite or touch upon my neck and I am ready to drop to my knees and submit. Since I am in the dom mod nearly all the time I have seen i have this way of naturally attracting submissive people to me or just bringing that side of them out. and that turns me on more than anything. The very act of them submitting or offering themselves up is just hot

sometimes it's genetic.
that also means that it doesn't have to be so extreme as being bi-polar;
there are liability disorders that are very mild--
they vascillate "the mood" more rapid than standard folk.

some people vote party-line, the the rest of us vote for the candidates that please us.

(so until we get better candidates, vote third party )

For me, gender plays at least a role. I'm not dominate with other women. Men, it's a toss-up.

For me, it has mostly to do with the other person involved - our chemistry and personality balance.

I both top and bottom with men, it totally depends on the partner. I've topped a woman as well, a dear friend of mine, and though I've never bottomed to a woman if the right Mistress came along I'd be happy to talk about it.
