Hi, greetings to all.  I was here last year sometime, left for my own reasons which i chose to not bore you with (unless persuaded!).  Things haven't changed much although I would of hoped they'd of changed for the better (as in no players and such).  One question (I'm sure most of you if any will chose to tell me I've posted this in the wrong place - I'm new to this so please be gentle!) why does life have to be so cruel, we get caught up in a web of deception by those who chose to lie and hurt those who tell truths??  I know the world can be a wicked place but as a submissive i find that we get hurt more easily, maybe its due to our giving nature and the fact that we open up to those we care, love and respect so much.  I am just viewing my point but would appreciate any answers, comments, suggestions....

Your viewpoint is sadly all too accurate, Joocee. A true Dom appreciates a sub like you
because their view of her is based on love and commitment. The drool-speckled misfits
you've had the misfortune to encounter are the typical fake Dom - They've been a miserable
failure with women their whole lives and view any submissive as an outlet for revenge, and a
route to easy sex.

But don't lose heart; There are still those of us with the intellectual capacity to truly
appreciate those gentle vessels who share your rare gift. Believe in yourself, be
cautious in your search and you will find the one who deserves you.

Be well, be happy,

The Bard.

Thank you for your response bard.  I believe that there is someone for everyone, it's just a matter of biding my time and not jumping into just anything.  Unfortunately, it seems all too common that a majority of female submissives let their heart rule their head, I will be the first one to put my hands up to that.   As with all things in life, we live and learn... once bitten twice shy.  I will also admit to meeting some good people, it's not all that bad.  So if any newbies are reading this then I'd advise you to take 'bards' advice.

Thank you once again... what is your name 'bardtothebone' all about?  I also see that you're a transplant!!!  I hope life is treating you well and before I get told off for not reading your profile before asking those questions I'm going to do so right this very moment!
