I thought I was submissive once until I learned that I was really a dominant masochist and there's nothing "submissive" about enjoying what you enjoy (we make this claim all the time when we refer to the do-me boys.) I'm a do-me woman, but don't deny it, which is all I ask of others if they are the same way. In addition, I have many other interests other than being "done" so it doesn't get annoying.
