Spanklette- i really like your idea on the list. i get shy when around strangers, and doctors seem to be the wroste strangers... (guess who doesn't like med play) and i mean to make my own list today. i think it was very compassionate of you to write of your-own expirience. thank you : )

No worries...I always seem to forget what I wanted to ask when I finally get in to see my Dr. He's the coolest guy ever and will really listen to my concerns, especially when it comes to BDSM play. If he doesn't know the answer to something off hand, he's quick to look it up or ask around.

I'm on oodles of medication and despite living a fairly uneventful, as far as my heath is concerned, life...I've seen dozens of General Practitioners and specialists...especially, Cardiovascular specialists. But, he's the first one I've really been able to come totally out of the closet with. And, even with him, I've always got my list of questions. [:D]

grumbles, it would appear the problem is bigger on His part. i reserched what was average in length, and He's got that beat in length and very beat in girth. normally such a condition wouldn't be considered a problem. but i'm not giving up, if the doc can help than there's still a chance. the rest of me is pretty flexable, so shall be my bum...

Read "The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women" by Tristan Taormino; it should answer virtually any question you may have, including how to train.

Tearing and blood is normal.  Until enough scar tissue has built up in your rectum, it will continue to tear and bleed during play and intercourse, no matter how careful you may be.

Sorry but mucous memberanes cannot build up scar tissue.  Therewasa throatfucking thread a year or so ago that said the same thing about ones throat...  the nature of mucous membranes in the body is to lubricate, stay soft and protective, and because they are so vascular (they bleed easily) they absorb medication easily.  But they will NEVER build up scar tissue.

odd, over on the Health furum, the general idea was that willingness to anal superceaded ability...

phx... willingness in giving ones all to their D-type is complete submission.  Never was the other thread about willingness.
Your thread is about ability BECAUSE please help, as this is the last surrender i can give to Him. Phoenix  I understand this all too well.  I believe any submissive would who is owned.

I am a healthcare provider and upon reading the thread, yes there might be several medical issues you can address.  A muscle relaxant will not help the rectum......  a warm bath, a glass of wine, sufficient lubricant that is workable for you and him, for the pain you might try orajel (commonly used on the other end of the GI tract, the mouth), but I truly believe that one cannot train the ass/rectum.
The psychology of the mind allows ones muscles to relax and as bigger and bigger foreign bodies are introduced, the rectal sphincter gets used to foreign objects.  I have seen pictures of rectal tissue permanently changed because of fisting (I nearly threw up when I saw it).
So in essence, the mind is being trained, not the rectal sphincter. Willingness does supercede ability  if you desire to say so.

phoenix,

I agree with all the advice to talk to an MD to make sure there aren't any underlying medical conditions. Bleeding is normal to a small degree meaning a drop or two occasionally in the beginning. Having a larger amount of bleeding each time is not. That would say to me that there is some type of medical issue involved of either hemmeroids or previous tears not being healed before subsequent attempts being made.

I know it might be embarrasing to discuss with an MD. Look at it this way, they are trained to be professionals. They aren't going to be judging you or your activities. If they do, then they shouldn't be a physician and you should find another one. A good one will take the time to discuss things to your stisfaction. You are paying them for a service. Don't be afraid to take advantage of their years of training and experience to get the answers you need! Have your questions ready and don't be afraid to tell him/her you're nervous about what you need to discuss with him. On another note completely you may want to consider a female physician to begin with if that would make it more comfortable for you to discuss this type of thing with.

You may also want to try a product called Analeeze (sp) it's a mild topical numbing ointment. The reasoning behind this is that once it becomes uncomfortable and any degree of pain becomes involved you probably tend to tighten up and clench the muscles making it difficult to relax. A small amount of this product may make that tightening a non issue and help in the situation.

Also look for lubricants that do not contain alcohol. Whoever mentioned Crisco was not far off the mark. Try to go towards more natural lubricants such as Crisco, vaseline or more silicone based lubricants. Liquid Silk is a great one. Look at the back of the bottle and the less ingredients you see the better it will be. It's the alcohol in most lubricants that's causing the stinging when the tissue tears are a concern. My basic rule of thumb regarding lubricants with anal is that even when you think you are using enough add half as much again. There's no such thing as too much lube when it comes to anal strap on training. This shouldn't be any different.

Best of luck to you.
