MistressSassy66 -> Endometrial Albation- 6 mos later (5/2/2007 1:32:05 PM)

Its been 6 months since the procedure and I cant believe
how awesome it is to have done this.

I was having extended periods with heavy bleeding...now its maybe 4 days long and only 1 or 2 days of heavy bleeding.
This isnt the answer for everyone,but for some Women who dont want a
hysterectomy it could be the answer.

I posted a link for those who want more info

Glad to hear its gone so well.

Also glad you posted the link - a friend of mine is having a few problems, doesnt want a hysterectomy and is considering this procedure, so I have passed it on.

Thanks
E

i was to have that procedure done in dec of 06. Sadly enough my fibroid was much tooo large and i ended up with the hysterectomy after all but i dont regret a min of it......i have never felt better in my whole life...my cycle was lasting almost 3 weeks of extremly heavy flow and pain. My surgery was in January of 07 and i am still adjusting to things but i can honestly say it was for the best.

It took a couple months to even out...the 1st period I had lasted only a day
the next was two days.

It really has made a difference in being able to do things outside the house,
Hasnt helped with the mood swings,but I am generally happier because of the length and its not so heavy.
Just that alone is worth it. [:D]
