FelinePersuasion -> Deletion of my own posts. (5/4/2005 8:22:45 PM)

ok, so I wanted to delete a post I made today asking why a thread that didn't disapere I just didn't see it, disapered. I went to go delete it and we can't delete our own posts. Why not?

Because we can't!

Yes, yes... I know that is no answer. But if you report the thread and ask politely, chances are that the mods will delete it.

You can edit it and replace it with "deleted".

ok lol.. And would it really be deleted later or just?

I suggest you do what riotgirl does. Make posts that get folks fired up to respond, let the thread build for a page or two, and then go and edit the content out so that anyone coming in later has no idea what everyone is talking about.

And no the post won't be deleted -- it will still be there with whatever nonsense you edit into it.

It isn't even a funny idea. It is an immature one. I know I come here to talk zand learn.
Not to have a few ruin the whole experience.

Nobody can ruin what you don't let them. Nobody has any power over you or what ruinsthings unless you let them.
