Ok-

survival of the fitest- the species -gene pool- evolves vis-a-vi the "fittest". keep in mind this is propagating the species. Now- one way of fittest, it the successful man- good carreer- tall dark and handsome- good provider/protector.

Next- take a male who has been in Jail for 7 years. In the culture of jails- the fitest survive. We have alot of revolving door jail boys, in and out of jail. Some seem to enjoy that lifestyle. Others simply exist.

Among the most punishing traits of jail- is lack of pussy. Add to this the high recidevism rate. Statistically most are destined to return to jail.

Lets fast forward 100 years. teh fittest genes will have survived. So we will see ultra sucessfull males- and ultra badboy males. This part of propagation of the species.

The criminal mind- we know very little about. Having worked in MR/MH- MR is much easier to understand then MH.

Now throw in the fact that in 2007, the age we had been thru womans lib- we have batterrred womans shelters all over the country. Why? Some of these ladies will go back again and again to the abuser.

Many gay men "think" they want to be raped. But- males -after they climax- focus next on food. Not sticking around.

We are human, animalistic, primal. With fears and traits that are not conducive-not traansferrable from caveman days.

I don't understand your post or how it is relative to the OP. I don't believe any of the things that you mentioned are justification or motivators for rape. Even the prison reference, are you saying that being incarcerated will turn a man into a rapist?

I believe Rape is inherently evil. It is NEVER justified, and anyone with a propensity for it, for ANY REASON actually has a fatal disorder, and it's best to put them out of their misery in the quickest possible way.

i once read a quote that i have never forgotten that i think goes right along with what you're saying here:
"A rapist doesn't rape for sex anymore than an alcoholic drinks because he's thirsty." Basically, there are hundreds of other options for such thirst (either for drink or sexual release). How telling that an alcoholic chooses only alcohol to quench his and a rapist chooses violence, force, and coersion to quench his........luci

That's a good analogy slaveluci, and points to exactly what i was trying to get at. Thanks for sharing that analogy - they always seem to bring into focus so much better what words often cannot.

You're welcome - i thought it would. i love a good analogy. i weighed in at the very beginning of this thread with what little i felt like saying about it so i won't get involved again. i'm afraid to. Kind of like some others i've been in the middle of, it just gets to a point where it's soul-draining to fight it out. i think everyone, at the root of it, has some good ideas and points and, in the grand scheme of things, it's only how the survivors of rape think of it and deal with it that matters. Outside observers deciding whether or not she/he "liked" it, whether or not it was "really" rape, or why it even happened is kind of a moot point when someone has been through such a tragic experience. Thanks for all your good posts on this thread and others. Keep your chin up.........luci

Admittedly I do not think this will change the minds of those entrenched in the idea that rape can NOT be sexually motivated but it may just.. just give another way of seeing it.

If women today are to protect themselves from rape, and men are to desist from it, people must be given advice that is based on knowledge. Insisting that rape is not about sex misinforms both men and women about the motivations behind rape -- a dangerous error that not only hinders prevention efforts but may actually increase the incidence of rape.

this is a very usual thing i read this had happen once before.. now she does hacve something going on wrong in her brain. why she came is anyone guess but she must not be may to be felt to be a wreck becasue she did this. i have seen what rape does to other i was rape so many time by a boyfriend when i was 18 and no one know he did this when i did not want he kkickme me , my sister was raped the man who rapd her beat her so bad i did not lknow who she was she never got over it she passed away 4 years ago . to me rape in anyform is bad but he id usually not sexual and many time the man do not come it is conrtol and power trip. you said she was in therpay for sometime now? i am in therpay i do not and can not stand a black man to touch me ti makes me ill and i wil not of with one for no reason it makes me so sick i feel like throwing up/ but i love my nepwhews and it is something i work on with my therpay and i am going thorugh iy will .i am sleepy . it goes to back to my father and a man broke no rip the door off of the front doctor and rape my mother no more 5 feet in feet of all of us and we would not save her and we saw all everything everything . i do not remember wwhat happen after but my mother was in shock what a childhood

No consent equals rape, that's it.
Physical reactions of the victim have nothing to do with enjoyment or consent. Just as an erection by a male rape victim doesn't mean it wasn't rape.

Never underestimate people, and don't give any more credit to the basic requirements to get into uni than it deserves.
