i love wearing a collar and got so excited the day Master bought me a beautiful purple with white diamantes dog collar and matching lead in the pet shop! Of course He had to try it on me ... attempting to be surreptitious behind the displays of course though my big grin at the checkout might have been a giveaway! i also have a black and purple leather collar which supports a large crystal-cut amethyst that i had for years and never found a good way to wear it (it just didn't sit right on a chain!). That was made for me by local leather bdsmers. Marvellous Michael also made me a full-blown slave collar, harness, wrist and ankle cuffs all in black and purple leather to match! However, here in Australia it can get a bit too hot to wear collars sometimes, and when it's hot i can get an itchy rash round my neck just from wearing light necklaces. So when it came to "collaring", W/we wanted something easier to wear all the time. i am used to wearing bracelets and a watch, so W/we went to a jeweller (partner of my vanilla colleague) and asked him to make up O/our design in silver and gold. W/we already had matching silver rings in a woven openwork design (they were to symbolise O/our commitment to the initial partnership), so took the same design and used it for an identity-style bracelet. It has a chunky chain, and then the rectangular "plate" with the silver woven openwork with v[A] in gold in the centre. W/we know what it symbolises of course, but it doesn't tend to raise comments in the vanilla world other than "that's a pretty bracelet"! It marks my identity as violet, collared to Master, His slave, yet the openwork also implies it's my open and free choice to be here. Being woven symbolises that Master and i are woven together, W/we are in this together, W/we need each other. i just love it :-) So my advice is ... if you can't find just what you want online ... try designing it and taking it to a manufacturing jeweller! O/ours, mostly in silver with only a bit of gold, was eminently affordable! violet[A] aka Maam Jay
