Hello. I'm new to BDSM and this site. Have dabbled here and there but finally found someone who has a little experience. Looking for friends, advice, mentoring and to hear of some stories from the experienced. Sorry if this introduction is slim. Check out my profile as i put alot of effort in detailing it and don't want to be redundant.

Some inital questions I have are:
What is the best way to handle an initial aggreement between two like-minded people?

What important questions I should be asking/answering now at the beginning?

If there are existing articles around, then please point me in the right direction. I hate looking like a noob but I haven't had a chance to really dig around the site.

Welcome.  If you use the search function you will be able to find a ton of information.  Also, keep posted on the current topics and start new threads in the appropriate sections as needed.  Good luck.

Welcome from a fellow noob.  We all have to start somewhere.  Not that I am an expert, but I would say open and honest communication is the best way to handle the initial agreement.  Of course to have an open and honest conversation, you really should have a good handle on who you are and what you want.  People change and that is to be expected, but it is pretty difficult to ask for what you want when you don't know.  Or to know what you have to offer.

I am sure others will have more specific advice.
