texasid -> Needle Play (5/7/2007 9:36:09 AM)

I have enjoyed needle play for sometime. My wife however wants to explore more than just the outer skin. She has been going into the head of my cock. Wow alot of blood sometimes, and the feeling is  great. Now she wants to go through the shaft of my cock. The meaty part. One side to the other. Avoiding the large vien that is showing thru the skin. Is this ok to do? Is there any permanent damage?

TheShadows -> RE: Needle Play (5/7/2007 11:45:26 AM)

Don't go through the shaft!  Holy hell.  Puncturing the corpus cavernosum (I think that's how it's spelled) which is the spongy tissue inside your penis that fills with blood during an erection, could cause permanent harm and damage.  If you or your wife value a hard cock, I would advise against this.  (But I'm not a doctor...so what do I know, right?)

NO NO NO NO NO. BAD IDEA.

The inside of a penis is essentially a large sack where blood get pooled up and under pressure when a guy gets a hard on.  Stick a needle in there is like putting a hole in a balloon.  Not only is blood liable to shoot all over the place if you do have a hard-on at the time, you won't be able to have one at all until the needle hole is fully healed up.

Is ther permanant damage.  I can't help but think "yes" although I've no idea what kind may be done.  A lot of painful surgeery comes to mind, most likely.

OK I'm not that penis puncture savvy as I'm not male and I'm a sub.
I'm wondering if what the two posters said are true then how the heck can a piercer do a King Albert to someone if it's that detrimental to your erections??

I am not an expert either but I have seen needle play with several needle/skewers put through the shaft of a penis.

earthycouple -> RE: Needle Play (5/8/2007 7:26:42 PM)

I'm a nurse and I highly discourage this.  To the poster about the PA that's not through the shaft, it is through the head and is only a slight fleshy area.  Piercings going all the way through the shaft, through the center will only result in bad stuff....along the outside edges, just the skin (very shallow) is one thing, but dear heaven's leave the shaft in its entirety out of needle play.

bad bad bad.  Just because we've seen pictures of it doesn't mean it's smart to do.  If you insist on doing this do tons and tons of research first.  This is NOT SSC and barely qualifies as RACK to me....I still suggest against it.

The shaft is a fairly common piercing. It is done all over the country every day, vertically and horizontally. For most people, no bad comes of it but a sore hole until it heals.

Also, a Prince Albert goes through the urethra and hout the hole in the head of the penis.

That said, this is when done by a professional. If you wish you take this needle play to the next level, find a piercer who will talk to you about this (it probably won't be that hard to find one) and inform yourselves well on care, location, and what types of needles to use. I hope you are not using sewing or other solid needles?

If you do it right, this is abut as harmless as any other piercing, with the same risks for infection/gravitation...so be careful and clean!

earthycouple -> RE: Needle Play (5/8/2007 8:36:56 PM)

a piercing through the shaft skin is common...but jamming a needle from one side, through the cock to the otherside is a whole different ball game....

DommeChains -> RE: Needle Play (5/8/2007 9:05:29 PM)

The vertical and horizontal piercings you are referring to (the Indian names escape me) are done thru the glans (head of the penis) and rarely......very rarely.... thru the shaft of the penis.  Yes, they can be done but they do tend to leave a band of fibrous scar tissue when done thru and thru the shaft and the risk of bleeding into the penile tissue is much higher than most other piercings. And the chance exists that the piercing could result in an inability to become fully erect or erect without a curve of such a degree that sexual intercourse would be difficult.

I agree with earthycouple.  This is something that it would seem wisest to leave to a very experienced professional piercer and not engage in without extensive training by someone with experience.  And with the knowledge that there could easily be permanent harm/damage done.

One can do lovely needle play on the penis without going to such an extreme as punching thru the shaft.  Seems lately everyone is having desires to skewer thru body tissues that aren't designed to handle that level of penetration.

SweetBobbie -> RE: Needle Play (5/9/2007 3:18:16 AM)

Speaking as a physician let me just say a few points.  First in all of my research i have not seen any piercings through and through the shaft of the penis.  i have seen such in the glans but this is not erectile tissue.  i have seen Prince Alberts but they are through the glans again and they are done through the urethra and out the underside where there is no erectile tissue even down the shaft.  i have seen and have simple frenulum piercings just under the skin and they are also quite safe.  The corpora cavernosa are two large, complex blood filled sacs running down the sides of the penis that fill with blood and allow erection.  Damage to these sacs can easily result in the permanent inability to get an erection.  We see what is called a "fracture" of the penis where one or both is ruptured due to trauma when fully erect and erectile dysfunction is quite common even after emergency repair.  As far as sticking needles through, you can probably get away with this to some extent as the amount of damage is small (depending of course on the size of the needle) but if done frequently and long term you are flirting with disaster.

When I had my tongue pierced it occured to me that piercings are done with hollow needles.  Would that be the case with this manner of needleplay?

You're totally right **headdesk**

It's called an ampalling, and for some reason i was envisioning the correct placement (through the head), but still thinking "shaft".

By all means, plunge it through the head, get a nice "Eyes on the Beast", but listen to everyone else on the shaft piercing, i got mixed up.

TheShadows -> RE: Needle Play (5/16/2007 8:07:09 PM)

It's amphallang, actually.  Horizontally through the head of the penis.  The Mister has one, and it's really neat.  The vertical version is called an apadravya.

Yes, medical needles are hollow needles and all needle play is a form of piercing, though obviously much smaller gage needles can be used.

I have done a PA and Amp piercing but I would leave a shaft piercing to a specialist piercer. I like sticking needles in the cock and balls but I always go with the saying, if I can’t pinch the skin then I don’t stick it in.

Next week I am going to be in a performance with Fakir Musafar and then going on to do some training with him. I will ask him about the shaft piercing.

Not a good idea unless you are a medical professional.  Stick to the head and the balls.

http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Category:Male_Genital_Piercings some fairly extreme piercings on there but i dont see any like what your describing your wife is going to do even if just for play.

Why not ask a piercer before you go ahead just to be on the safe side, they will at least be able to show/tell you where the best place for insertion will be.

Enjoy
