This diet has been around a zillion years in one form or another. I personally suggest that you not worry yourself about diets and simply change your lifestyle....ha ha, right? Simply? No way! Diets are diets are diets. They work for awhile, we can't stand them and we quit then gain back twice what we lost. The only real cure for extra weight is a balanced meal plan based on your personal caloric needs and exersize. While I am not a weight loss specialist, I am a nurse and I've struggled with my weight since birth *that's a whole 33 years now* and when I eat balanced meals in moderation, drink 64 ounces of water a day and exersize (accomplish target heart rate 20 - 30 minutes at a time) three times a week I lose weight; as do most people. Sorry to say diets fail because we are not meant to cut carbs from our diet, to live on soups and one food group a day, or eat a grapefruit with every meal. We are meant to put the RIGHT things in our bodies day in and day out and get our asses of our couches and sweat.
