Does anyone know where to get reasonabely-priced gold sub jewelry. I am allergic to silver! What I have seen in the web was in the thousands of dollars... way to much!!

I suppose that all depends on what you mean by "sub jewelry." What sort of things are you looking for?

A collar is what I had in mind. There are so many gorgeous collars to chose from in sterling.

Hello,
I happen to be a CAD designer, that has been working on creating jewelry. If you can draw what you want, *to give me a rough idea* I can and will be happy to make your piece, before you get it, you will get a picture so that if there are any changes that need to be made, you know about it and they get done. Then get it cast and shipped out to you. I can do it in all types of metal, and if you want to add stones, NO PROBLEM!.
Send me picture of what you want *either hand drawn or computer* with sizes and such, and I'll give you an estimate on what it will cost for me to do it.
Hope this helps.

If you want a more "traditional" look, I can recommend using an Omega style necklace. These give the appearance of being "solid" like the mediaval collars were. I got one made of solid 14k gold off ebay for about $200 a few years ago. You might check there. They come in all width of chains and as you would expect, with more gold the higher the price.

Actually, there is a site that makes *gorgeous* collars, and an option is having them done in gold. I think you can get one made for around $800. Let me know if this is in your price range and if so, I'll track down a link to it.

best regards,
fate
