I hate that there are really good people who are hurting on here tonight, and I can only offer hugs on a monitor.

On a lighter note, I hate that I had to use imaginary defibrilator paddles on Angel via cmail and I don't know if she has responded yet or if she coded.

i hate it that i'm sick....i hate it that i'm getting pissed as fuck about being sick!!!! i hate that He's not here for me to yell at.....errrr.....uhm.....i mean hell..... i just need to let go of this. i know in my head i have no control over being sick, but it feels as though it's some sign of weakness....

Cali...sweetness, maybe he needs to learn that his actions have consequences. So far he has done things his way and made everyone around him miserable, endangered them emotionally and in someways physically (stress is physical). Like a child in a temper tantrum he tore up the restraint order, violated it to find out what it said, and then showed his contempt for the court and the order by not showing up. Time for this boy to learn some harsh lessons I suspect. Courts don't like people to think they are outside their laws.

Buck up Cali and do what you know is right otherwise he is going to continue to make your life miserable just because he can.

Kali you sound so much like me it isn't funny. I have gone to work with the flu, pneumonia, and tried to cook dinner after delivering a kidney stone the size of a marble after it was broken up. I learned. It's not a weakness. It is your body saying I need to focus all my attention on this so we can conquer it and if I have to knock you on your ass(et) to do it.I will. Don't milk it, but if your body says we need sleep..then listen to it. You listen when it says it's time to get up, or , it's hungry or it' wants an orgasm..why ignore it on something as serious as this?

Beat the heck out of a stuffed animal and curl up with a good book, allow yourself the luxury of healing.

i hate it when it's that time of the month...i hate it when i'm creating shit to be irritated, frustrated, guilty, or crabby about with work. i hate that i have risidual crap from my previous 8 years of employment, that linger over to my new boss. Despite the fact that she's kind, wonderful, supportive, encouraging, and values me!!!

i hate it when i'm just full of hate.... i hate it when i'm hungry and think about going to make popcorn, but the reality is....It's just too much work. i hate it that as i was sitting here tonight, what i talked about last night in therapy overwhelmed me. i hate that i had convinced myself that i had dealt with all the screwed up dynamics surrounding my dad's death. i hate that i'm not sure how to feel about the fact that i treated Him with more grace and dignity in the last days of his life than he had ever treated me with.

Kali. If you treated your dying father with grace and dignity, YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. Good on ya, girlfriend!! Taking the high road often sucks, but when it comes down to it, we all have to live with the decisions we make. Being kind, being a good daughter, being a good PERSON, those are the things that make you hold your head higher because you did NOT give in to the bad stuff.

The past can come and kick us in the teeth unexpectedly. I think it's all some kind of big circle, or set of circles, and we keep coming back to issues at different points in our lives, and deal with them in different ways based on changes we've made. The thing to rememeber is that you are surrounded by people that love and care about you. I know I am, and even as I am typing just that thought is making me cry again. Because yeah, it doesn't really HELP... but keep reminding yourself that you are not alone, and that you are strong enough to weather this and come through on he other side with new scar tissue, and a new perspective.

(seriously HATING that I can't just wave my magic riding crop and fix it!)

Kali, you treated him with grace and dignity because you are a woman of grace and dignity. You do the right thing, even when no one is looking. And staying true to yourself, despite what he did to you in the past, is what makes you who you are. Could you have treated him poorly? Yes, but then you would have stopped living your authentic life, and you would have a lot more to go through to forgive yourself for that.
