I love it that I got permission to get a DYSON!!!!! I can't wait to get it set up & see if it's worth the extra bucks.

I love it that I was able to put a big smile on His Evilness by getting him a much nicer Christmas present than he was expecting.

I love that I have finally finished just about everything on my "to-do" list. (The list that my dad said was asking a lot of a small army of people to accomplish in a month, much less one person in a week.) LOL... but, I did it. Now, just some laundry to fold, and bring a piece of furniture from storage to the kids' room, which I'll do when I have help from DB later this week. I have gone from room to room, admiring my handiwork, over and over again. I know that sounds insane, but I did it. This was something that I had wanted to do for the longest time, but was too overwhelmed to start it. Now, it's done and I'm content to go back to work tomorrow, knowing that I will truly come back to my castle, my refuge, that is void of clutter and junk, and misc. things that we no longer needed. This is now my happy place, and it's my home.

You've inspired me too, Red. But every time I get up to do something, I feel overwhelmed again & do a little & sit back down for another 3 or 4 hours. Since I have to work the next 3 days & am having friends over on Thursday, this isn't working so well for me. But I bought a Dyson. Think that will help???

Dysons are awesome, so says my old neighbor. Great for pet hair.

The thing that finally got me over the "being overwhelmed" part was that I had to break it down into small parts. I decided to go room by room. I started in the back of my place and moved forward. The more I got done, the better I felt. The better I felt about my place, the more I wanted to do. Now, I am just so thrilled, I can hardly stand it. I also realized how much time I was spending on the computer, and decided that it needed to stop, at least if I was going to get this done. I wanted to start this year out on a positive note, not looking back saying, "I wish I would have done..." and being able to have anyone over to hang out, to the point that I would show strangers my closets because they are even spotless, is pretty cool.
