hey, cd molesticates us old broads too, y'know... and nikitaa, might not be so easy removing his 'parts' and all

pure, i'm taking lotsa quickie showers (another 2 since that was posted) because it's been 45 all day. and while i've been in the office with air conditioning, the house has been absorbing all that heat. the little portable heater cuts out while it's in the 40's, and we have it for 15 minutes at a time. thus, cold showers to keep body heat down.

45 celcius that is, not 45 fahrenheit.

45C = 113F

Yeah yeah yeah.

We're closed down again....and I'm hoping the BMV is open today, my registrations are due Saturday.

One of my neighbors is out chipping all the ice off his car (he has my sympathies). Looks like we had about 0.5 inches of ice and 9 (!!!!) inches of snow.

I waited too long - the website says not to do it if you're within a week of expiration.

The teen has been home all week with some weird virus. Last night they said today would be a two hour delay but school is now cancelled because of ice.

I got plowed last night but my plow guy has assigned his son to do me. A less than stellar job which oddly enough means it is easier to drive on. Clean ice would be rougher. Having him leave chunks and occasional small drifts gives more control. Quarter mile driveway, folks.

I had a long driveway. I used to leave at least 2 inches of snow on it to avoid driving on ice. Cat litter and any animal food with molasses in it are good for ice.

I can get it sanded, but then it melts over it during the day and freezes on top during the night. Problem now is my propane company says the driver couldn't get up it. He didn't even try and we were mainly all clear two days ago.

Happened last year too, he doesn't want to come up this far and claims it isn't passible. They do have a four wheel drive truck, if the regular driver refuses to deliver then they can come up with individual tanks and add them to my big one.
