Good morning wenches and gentleman..I am off to Roanoke VA for a doctors appointment, a saw bones that may be the one to fix my ailing ankle, I certainly hope so as its getting progressive worst, every morning its the pain and stifness that just drives me crazy so wish me luck..behave yourself while I am gone fluffy is watching all of you smile..

yep cuz you got a few days you wont be here and hope for the best for your surgry fluffy and ill let everyone know when i get to kansas cuz sunday night or monday afternoon will probably be the last im heard from for a while but ill do my best to remember to check in. you know how it goes when ya get to loved ones take about a week to play ;)catch up ;)

A cute desert idea - Cantaloupe Strawberry/Jell-O mold.

Prepare the melon - take a whole cantaloupe and cut it in half. Clean out the seeds. Slice off a bit of the rind on the bottom of each half so it will stand still and level. Dry out the inside with paper towels.
Mix the Jell-O filling - mix Strawberry Jell-O according to package directions and cool to room temperature. Add cut up strawberries.
Put it together - Spoon the Jell-O with strawberries into the Cantaloupe. Place a piece of plastic wrap over. Repeat with the second half. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours. (Extra Jell-O can be chilled and eaten separately.
Serve - Remove plastic wrap and cut each half into 3 wedges, being careful not to disturb the Jell-O. Serve with whipped cream if desired. Makes 6 servings.
