So. . . . my grandfather is in the hospital again. This happens about twice a year. My mother, on giving me the news, goes into 'nurse-speak'. So, I am sitting here thinking. . . Do I need to make travel arrengments? How in the hell do you ask, "Is he dying this time?" Second question, "What in the hell did you just say to me?" I understood the O2 thing. . . what was the rest? I had to explain that I did not get my degree in nursing. Basic chemistry, I know. . . I have no clue what the rest was. Apparently he is not going to die today. And she got an A in her English class.
