Status: offline 		OK....I think I"m channeling our favorite klutz.......picture this....Bought 2 new bags of dry cat food, put it in the feeders, and am trying to mix up the rest of the 2 bags in the convenient plastic, snap top container, k?  Shaking it side to side, then, in a moment of brilliance, turn it upside down to shake it that way.......but forgot one important thing!...to put my hand over the snap on top......well, I flipped it up, gave it a vigorous shake guaranteed to mix it all up....and........yup....you guessed it.....top pops off and I have dry cat food all over the bed and the floor.  Was doing it after I put food in Squeak's feeder...the boys are still sorta of snotty to her, so she has all her stuff in my room!

So I pick it all up, almost piece by piece, and put it back into the container....sweeping it would have gotten all the cat hair on the floor with it......but at least it's all mixed up pretty evenly now!!!!!! 

BTW, when I say favorite klutz, feel free to pick either one of them!  I've lost track of who is the bigger one this week!

Status: offline 		And it looks like it's Greyhound to Tallahassee this month for the other interview...flights are way too expensive...unless I get good news from Lake Worth!  Even Greyhound is going to run me $300!!  OY!!!!  Where are all the cheap trips to Florida at?

I did get to watch a thunderstorm pass thru while waiting in Palm Beach airport......was cool, actually...one side of the airport had a storm, while the other side had sun!  I love the weather!  And to just hear thunder again......{sigh}.........wha?...so I'm a little strange....like who didn't know that????

Read about the LO's doc's appt......I'd take the sneaky route and not tell him about it til you're on the way...oh, wait...you already did......OK, so then I'm with the bribery camp.  My son was always pretty good about it....seems like he'd forget the last appointment involving shots, so he was always pretty easy to get there.  It helped that his attention span is at short as mine, so 10 minutes down the road, all the tears were gone and we were off to sompleace else.  Yanno, I really had/have a good kid!  Don't know what I did to deserve him.....that's also why I stopped at one....I always figured the next one would be the spawn of Satan!  I'm not one to tempt the Fates!

Status: offline 		Yeah, Jeff, it's pretty amazing how fast those "little things" add up!  And it's probably just the beginning~and for heaven's sake, make out a list....if you're like me, and wander the store, you find all sorts of other things you "can't do without"....until you get home and find out that yeah, you could have!

Doing pretty good......anyone know how to say "You make a better door than you do a window" in kitteh?  It's hard to see the monitor with a furbaby body in the way, and apparently, they don't understand that English....cuz all I get is a blank look when I tell them that!

Status: offline 		Mini blinds, towel racks, cup hooks, 3 fifty foot ethernet cables, two new desk chairs, a computer desk, power tools, curtains, more paint (you would think dark blue and desert brown would cover white in 1 thrice damned coat.... but no...) tile for the kitchen, one bathroom, carpet for two bedrooms, towel racks, toilet paper holders and misc. other hardware, glue, epoxy.

Status: offline 		Yeah, but if things go the way they seem to be going, I may have a sub moving in with me, which means I have to trade rooms with my nephew, which means I have a room 1.5 times as big as the room I took, so I have to repaint the room to suit me, re do the carpeting, change the curtains for bamboo blinds, add the oriental wall treatment ( hand painted bamboo forest with a pagoda, ghostly mountains and an image that may be a cloud or a dragon, depending on your mood) the rack for my musashi sword collection and my teak buddha (flanked by miniature bamboos with two bonsai trees.)

and yes, when I sleep at night I listen to a mix of Kitaro and Japanese flute music.
