You're on the right track, holly. Now just explain that McDonald's is not a right. It is earned by his behavior regarding the doctor's office.

And if that doesn't work, explain that the doctor has a big needle he uses ONLY on kids who don't do as they're told. It's a total anesthetic. And he'll sleep all through the McDonald's.

Actually Celeste, the office has kid versions of all the things the doctor uses. The LO gets his own stethoscope, thermometer, etc. Very very kid friendly. The Teddy is a great idea!!! Gonna pack it now!!

Ever thought of not mentioning the doc's until AFTER yer on the way? Say you need to make a little stop BEFORE McDonald's? I'm grateful that I don't have that problem with Mr. Smarties, he likes to see our doctor.

(And observant LO, just wait until you want to tell him that yes, you have a pain in the ass, and you mean him. That will happen in about 10 years or so.....)

no, i've had a glass of red, gotten quite tipsy (i'm easy) and enjoyed an hour and a half of a good caberet! the man had a voice like the barnacled bottom of a barge and a great 3 pc band to back him up.
