And any suggestions on a fun 4th of July dish are welcome.  It need not be red/white/blue. 
Steaks marinated for about 4 hours in a mix of red wine, lime juice, cilantro, garlic and red, green and yellow peppers, then grilled.

No, didn't get to Kensington but walked by Eaton Centre and Lumus wouldn't let me even go inside, said I'd never come out again!  I'll keep that in mind next time about Kensington though because we were looking for a new collar for me and the shops we went into were quite disappointing. We went into Scott House, walked around Old City Hall, I went into St. James Cathedral but had to be quiet as the 11 am service had just started, talk about gorgeous overload! I found out about the King Tut exhibit at a booth while at the Pride festival. AGO had a booth set up. Laughed with one lady who was using a crop to poke the rian off their booth, I told her that was a unique way to use it, I was used to it being used on me.

Lumus tells me that next time, we'll go by Kensington though and map out the day a little better than just wandering. Though to see the Sky Needle as the train pulled into Union station just really hit home that yes, I was finally in Toronto for the first time ever!



Next time you also have to go to the Lawrence Street mall, Square One, West End Mall, Yorkdale Mall, Oakville mall in Oakville and a few stores at Yonge and Bloor!

Status: offline 		  Hopefully next time though the garbage strike will be over. There was a nasty, funky aroma wafting on the air that was not a good memory at all.

  And speaking of next time, you WILL be there, right? Daddy says He's going to revoke your Shopping Queen badge if you skip out again on us. (Plus He wants to post a rant about shitty collars and not having a lot of choices at supposed "fetish" stores. My gawds above, we went to one of the supposedly main stores and they had only 7 collars, all either flimsy crap or obviously unsuitable to what we wanted...)

And just something to think about....why is it that bus companies don't understand that there are only 2, dos, deaux, 1+1=2, "S"'s in buses??????  It's NOT "busses"......all the way across the country, I saw it spelled that way on billboards.....bugs the hell outta me!  Always has!  You'd think at lest the company that creates the ad, or the company that prints the billboard would have spell check!  OY!!!!  Busses are kisses, damiit...buses are rolling shoeboxes!

OK, rant over, now back to our regularly scheduled random stupidity!

Status: offline 		  We took the train to Toronto yesterday, Soul.. it was fun and beautiful, except for the delay coming home. Now if only we could afford a luxury train trip across the country. Mmmmmm, that would be nice.

(I can't take BUSES, I get too car-sick on them. Weirdly though, I don't get motion sickness on trains, boats or planes, just cars and BUSES.)
