Status: offline 		  Meh, hair is doing it's own shit, sticking out like an African bush-man's, fuzzy and !!!POOF!!! doesn't even begin to describe it. I let it air dry and used some gel and leave-in conditioner to try to tame it and it just screamed "FUCK YOU!" and did it's own thing. My MIL gave me a flat-iron yesterday to try, don't know if it's a good one or not. (Speaking of MIL's, holly, you have mail.)

Soul and holly, I know about the glass, pain in the rear to clean. However, I saw that picture and just went "OMG!!!!!!!! It's Queenie!!!!!! So that's why she just showed up here!"  *laughs*  The attitude is just right and whoever that cat really is, she is the dead-ringer of a twin for Queenie. About Snow, a few days after we started thinking she was our's, a lady called and talked with me about her. Seems her boyfriend's cat got lost and the description matched Snow's exactly. So the shelter came and got her and last I heard, they picked her up. We were heartbroken to lose her but if she had a family, we knew they'd be missing her too. So now it's the 2 - Punky and Queenie, though if Lumus' sister has anything to say, there may be a brand new kitten in our future. She lives out on this rural farm with her boyfriend and this momma cat keeps having kittens. So cat-hating SIL now has 3 of her own and thinks more may be on the way.... I am SOOOO gonna have to talk with her about trapping Momma Kitteh and getting her spayed.....

Now the raccoons out there, I can't do anything about, though I'd love to have one as a pet.

Status: offline 		awwww, Rain, I'm sorry to hear that Snow is gone, but yeah, her family was probably frantic with worry.....I lost Smooch not too long after I arrived here, and it was the longest 24 hours of my life......all I could think of was the traffic, the heat, the critters, the dogs.....but the little stinker showed up, just dehydrated and hungry, at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the hotel room I was in at the time.  And he still darts out the door on me.....sneaky little stinker!

Status: offline 		my cats generally stay away when i am on the 'puter, but that is because i never sit here long. I type, then get up to clean up a banana smear, dry a tear, toss in a load, etc.

When they do bother me is during my reading time (middle of the night when sleep is an elusive bitch). The lil darlin's will plop their fuzzy butts on my book and puuuuurrrrrrr..... And asking "Don't you have anything better to do?" will only make them purr louder.

i did what holly just said - write something, get up and wipe down counters, put away groceries, fill the sink, put the dishes away, put the vegies away, then come back and see that stacks of people wrote between when i thought i wrote and when it got posted!

This week...i'm not sick one bit....But i have no desire to go to work..In fact for the last 47 minutes i've gotten two things done..i've brushed my hair and my teeth...Oh wait..and actually i have nothing on below the waist.

you did two things in 47 minutes, which means you had 23.5 minutes per task. One task was brushing your teeth. You have 26 teeth so that means you spent uh...*does math...carries her ones* well...ya spent less than one minute per tooth.

Now...you also brushed you hair in (again) 23.5 minutes. Following the same principle, the average woman has over one million hairs on her head so be my calculations the time spent on each hair actually puts you in the negative time status allowing you the to go back to bed for 16.7 days
