hi Aylee

Pots, my weekend was mostly good. And I can't hardly wait to climb on the scale at the Dr.'s office this afternoon. Today is my 3 week face to face follow-up since starting the very low calorie diet. The idea is to keep my caloric intake between 500-750 calories a day, with 5 oz. of chicken or fish included in that total. I've been successful in doing so for all but 3 of those days, and on those days still kept my total under 1200 calories. Going by my scale at home, I am 18 lbs. less, than the day I started. My blood sugars are still screwy, but not nearly as bad as what they were.

Thanks for being an inspiration!

yeah.. the prednisone is a godsend... of course, my cat food expenses have gone over the top (she'll like a certain variety for a feeding or two, then NOT, so I gotta keep switching them up. thank god, Amos will usually eat what Gracious doesnt)

I am glad to hear that the animals are all doing well. I had to shave the stoooopid little dog yesterday and spray paint him partly purple. He looks so silly now, but seems a bit happier. I swear that it is like shearing a very small sheep.

I have no idea what is going to be on the agenda for me today. I know what was SUPPOSED to be on the agenda, but it looks like rain, which would make things rather difficult. *sigh*

I'm actually liking the weather! Of course, it's because there's a hurricane in the gulf (headed towards NOLA and the panhandle again/.... those folks just cant get a break!!)

I probably should, although that would take more than one days drive for me. LOL

Besides, I only have a little extra money right now, as I am putting most of my extra towards the t-day feast, holiday travel plans, and holiday pressies.

We still need to get the holiday picture done, although I already have the clothes for that and the groundhog can take the pic again.

There is extra stamps to buy. And a new ream of paper. (Butterhead LOVES coloring on the printer paper!)

While I have some pressies bought, there are still some more to get, especially all the stocking stuff.

I also need to get my. . . what do you call that paper that you make drawing plans and figures on?. . . anyway, that out and actually figure out how much and of what kind of wood I need to make Butterhead a new toy chest (instead of the tupper-tainer that she has now). I am hoping that I will not have to put that off until after the first of the year. (Time not money issue)

And I STILL have not decided on fowl or beef tenderloin for t-day. *sigh* And the guys are not giving me any preferences. Bastids. "Everything that you cook tastes good" is NOT a helpful answer!

So, all in all, I am running a bit further behind sheduale that I had been hoping for by the second week of Novemeber. Such is life!
