I got Stephen King's new book "Under the Dome"...no liner notes, so I was taking a chance.....except I finally looked it up to get an idea of what the plot was...it's a fast reader, but I've been so tiard lately that I read a few pages and ZONK!!!!  For those of you who haven't seen it, the damn thing is like 5 pounds, 3" thick and in hard cover.....kinda hurts when it falls on your face when you fall asleep!  So far, it's pretty good.....


personally i have always been a fan of steven king, and even before i knew what kinky was thought he was a sick and twisted individual but still wouldn't mind meeting him in a dark alley...alone....wearing very little...

damn, there goes my mind again wondering

ok 2 test subjects available...and sounds like we need to change it to a weekly event instead of a monthly one...would say daily but then everybody would be too busy to get any real work done, unless providing the sex was a paid gig...nah too much like prostitution for my tastes lol

Status: offline 		well all, even though i have the day off my "real job", the masses still want me to clean the house, do the dishes and laundry and serve a piping hot me at the hour upon which they decide they are hungry, so far i have done nothing, but plan on hot soup and sandwiches for dinner so that will be easy to do at least. now to tackle the rest, and fit exercises and 2 20 minute walks in....

Status: offline 		I haven't seen the new Discworld, must get. I don't wait for paperbacks anymore. My oldest and I devour them, and then I'll send it to his daughter to read. The three of us share True Blood books, Anita Blakes, Black Dagger Brotherhood and Discworld.

A fascinating book about Kansas is PrairyErth by William Least Heat Moon. One of my favorite all time authors. Also love some of Michael Chabon's stuff. Yiddish Policemen's Union and Gentlemen of the Road are his best imo.

I just lent the new Discworld to a friend today (about 3 hours ago.)  I am tempted to send you Postville.  It is a non-fiction By Stephan Bloom.  http://www.amazon.com/Postville-Clash-Cultures-Heartland-America/dp/0156013363/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1260227203&sr=8-1 

You might also enjoy the Honor Harrington series by David Weber.  If you buy one of the most recent ones they usually come with a CD in them with the rest of the stories.    Of course you have to not mind reading off of the computer.
