Are you asking me or the OP? He said he was available during the week but not on weekends. Makes you almost think he has a wife who works days while he works evenings or nights, but they both have weekends off so he can't be contacted then.

As for me, I am available whenever I am not serving my dominant. Since he broke his hip this summer that means that I have little time to spend chatting.

Status: offline 		I was asking you. It sounded as though it seemed unusual to you. I was curious as to why that might be. Thank you for sharing. Lot's of people work evenings and week-ends. People who work in the bar/restaurant industry, people who work in hospitals, etc. People who have kids will frequently play while their kids are in school. There are also people who work by appointment and have flexible days because of it.

Lot's of people have free time during the week for a variety of reasons. Even people who have husbands, wives or spouses, are not necessarily hiding any thing. Lot's of polyamory in the "bdsm lifestyle"...of course lot's of cheaters too, more so online.

I hope your dominant gets well soon. :(

Status: offline 		Yes, there are reasons why someone is only available on week days during the day. I did not accuse him of anything. I only asked why he wasn't available for weekends. Not being available for weekends without some special reason is often seen as a Red Flag. A Red Flag is a warning that something is not quite right.

Gary is getting better every day, thank you. Last week he was able to drive the car for the first time in 2 months. Thankfully he broke his left hip and not his right. This week he gave up the walker and is walking with a cane. We should be able to head south for the winter in early November.

Since only being able to meet on week days during the day is often a Red Flag, it is good to be upfront if you do have a good reason that you can only meet during that time. The OP having custody of his children is a good reason.

Red Flags are warning signs. Often times a person who is married and cheating puts limits on when meetings can take place. The meetings are never on weekends, holidays, or when the person needs to be with the family. The person says they are single but the Red Flag points toward being married.

It's not being catty to point this out. It is a fact of life. I have had friends who got burned by falling for someone who was cheating.
