Status: offline 		yea aylee thats what i follow and i usually do it from season to season and it helps alot so that grandma doesnt end up cramming my closets full of clothes and such because she keeps sayin i need new because i dont wear what she finds conservative and fitting of me but then again i live a diffrent life than i would want for her to know about LOL

Status: offline 		omg!!  i have clothes that are nearly as old as my kids!!!  but i've been wearing them, i'm sure...lol...ok, maybe not in the last year...i took a med 15+ years ago that the doc said "may cause a little weight gain" & i gained 100 lbs in 2.5 months before i made her try something else....so the older ones i can't really wear anyway...but, but, but...they're my friends!!  & any day now, that 100 lbs may just fall right off of me & then i'd have to buy new clothes!!

ok, i'm trying to be ruthless now...must....give....away....clothing.......GACK!!!!!!

Status: offline 		my problem is that i love buying clothes...since i stopped trying them on in the store dressing rooms, i like it even more!  i was thinking about boxing up the ones my neighbors don't want & finding a shelter to give them to....

& very good point, Aylee about paying our own rent...there were times i didn't know how i would afford it, even back in the days when it was less than $100, but i always handled it...i hate living with other people....

Oh, I do not mind living with other people.  I just do not like being DEPENDANT on other people.  And as a mature adult, I do not think that I should be dependant on someone else. 

When I moved out I became a real-grown-up-adult.  I did not grocery shop in my parents' pantry, mom did not continue doing my laundry, dad did not do my oil changes, and the ONE time I borrowed money it was repaid in less than a week (it was for college text-books, so I really could not wait).  I knew how to budget and how to put off buying something until I could pay for it. 

So. . . with all that, there was no one that could tell me how to dress or what to buy.  They could not tell me what I could eat or not eat.  Or what to do.  (Exception would be when I was in the military.)  It was up to me to sink or swim.  And I swam.  It sucked sometimes, but that is just another part of life. 

***This is not to disparage yours or anyone else's D/s relationship.  That is a choice to turn control over, not a necessity because someone else is paying for your upkeep.  Two different things.***
