*snort*  only ONE?????  I kinda figured that with your record for mishaps, you'd have a room reserved at the ER......I hope they at least named the new wing of the hospital after ya!

I've told my ums that even though Dad has a cell phone, I expect them to call me on the landline.  Tis just easier.  And when we have a family dinner, whether it is at a restaurant or at home, the rule is NO CELL PHONES!  (anybody remember what their parents rules were at dinner re:  phone calls from friends?  My parents always answered the phone at mealtime and if it was one of my friends, they were told "Sorry...we eat dinner between 5 and 7...my son will call you when dinner is through").  I have the same rule any time I am teaching a class...if you keep getting up to go out in the hall and answer the phone, then you won't be allowed back in until the break.  Yes, you paid money for my class but...tis MY class and MY time spent teaching it.

The other half is going to go to Chicago for a week to do some business because, frankly, the phone just is not the same.  They have been hours on it.  I am going nuts, and finally say, "Why don't you just fly there!" 

My gary, people, it really IS OKAY to have human contact!

I have decided to fullfil them ALL!  At the same time!

My s-type has now been given the task of building me a TARDIS.  Oh yeah, baby!

I do hope your s-type is able to solve the inter-dimensional interface necessary for the interior to be larger than the exterior, not to mention tapping the space time continuum for the power supply, otherwise you may find yourself stuck in another time altogether unable to get back.

However, the good news is that if you are able to tamper with the historic events, you would probably find that you are in a parallel time line and thus not be in THIS time line, so the net effect is that you would cease to exist in this time line in order to exist in the other time line, or a completely separate parallel universe.

Which could mean that for you in this time line the tardis would have seemingly failed to work and you were actually duplicated in the parallel universe and time line in order to fulfill all your fantasies.  In this existence you would be stuck with the your current unalterable timeline and unable to do what you had planned to do with the tardis.

Status: offline 		Yeah, I hate that whole "shooting my own grandfather" problem.  But, I figure that if Jacob Burroughs can do it, so can he!  I just hope that I do not have to fight the black hats!  Although, visiting Wonderland could be nice.

Status: offline 		By the third generation of Lot 6, the powers leave behind no ill effects: no hemorrhaging, no headaches, no nausea or vomiting... just flingin' spontaneous combustion with pure thought.

(This is all according to the SciFi "Firestarter" series, a short-lived series based loosely upon Stephen King's Firestarter. The main character in the series supposedly was Charlie McGee's daughter, IIRC.)
