GAH!!  *sympathy for Rain's shrubbery!*

Save me from RESIN FEVER, I am buying dorries!!  TWO new dolls in one week...  I am INSANE!!  But I will not go to the nice yarn store today, even though it is right by my client's house that I have to go to.  NO new yarn!  NO!

Sigh...

Dorries = Multiple little blue fish that sing, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming"

It's a funny thing, I love hair, and I love hair REMOVAL.  That makes me extra versatile, right?

Soul....a parents worst nightmare. You did good!!

Actually, the one thing he did that scared me even more was getting himself jammed into the washing machine.....he was about 2, and had climbed in cuz we'd been playing hide 'n seek, and I wasn't totally 1000% specific about NOT hiding in the washer.....silly mom!...his head was jammed under the rim, bent at a 90 degree angle to his shoulders, and all I could do was try to figure out how I was going to convince the EMT's and cops that I wasn't really trying to put him thru the rinse and spin cycle!  It was also at this time that I found out the washing machine tops LIFT......we managed to get him out, he had a deep groove in the side of his head, but he was doing okay...til I started to bawl...then HE did!  My god, I'd never been so scared in my life!!!!  The groove was there for about 4 days...and it brusied too....it's a good thing my mom knew that my son was always getting banged up somehow.....but that was a tough one even for me to handle!

Yanno, I've been shot at, beat up in fights, wrecked a few cars, but that is the only incident that ever gave me nightmares!  And THAT is the reason I have CATS!

OMG Soul!  I would have had a freakin COW!!

You parents, I admire you!  Last night I was watching one of the freak shows of the little girl who has realllly bad Treacher-Collins, and the poor little thing had to do more surgery of course.  I just thought of my own mom doing the same with me, and thought WHOA I would have totally lost it in the waiting room, having to put my baby through that.

Oh no, hun...I actually have 2 VCR's....2 DVD players too.....but my cell phone only makes and takes calls, and text messages........I'm guessing that leaves me in a class by itself!

No, that is all mine does as well.
When I bought my previous one, the sales guy was showing me cell phones with cameras on them, and my response was, "Why on Earth would I want a camera on my phone?"
When I bought the one I currently have (the dog had chewed through the charger cable and they no longer had the replacement cables) the sales people were again perplexed that, NO REALLY!  ALL I want is the ability to receive calls and make calls.  That is it.
Heck, I do not even have a cell phone plan, I do that "pay as you go" thing, because I really and truely do not use my cell phone that much.  They tried to tell me that a plan would be cheaper, and then were rather annoyed when I pointed out that I spend $25 dollars every 3 months.  Did they HAVE plans cheaper then $8.33 a month?  I thought not.
I figure that I am the only person left in the US that does not talk on a cell phone in a store, while eating out, while driving, while walking down the street. . . et cetera, ad nauseum.

Nope hun, you're not the ONLY one left....WE are the only ones left......heck, half the time I don't know where my phone is, and the other half, the battery's dead!  And I use Net10...they are the cheapest pay as you go I've had so far.....course, I haven't looked in a while....it takes me forever just to get thru the 300 minutes I put on the phone.....it's sort of a necessary evil.....and whenever someone is being totally rude on the stoopid things in public, I just start to whistle.......and I'm GOOD at it!  They either move off where I'm not subjected to their conversation, or they just get frustrated and hang up!  I can be such a snot!

But this little subbly wimmin can change tires, plugs, head and tail lights, the oil, flush a radiator, put all the RIGHT fluids in the RIGHT openings.....thanks to my dad......

Personally, I think all women should have some knowledge about cars....

That way the men dont get the, "Dear the car is making funny noises and the oil warning light has been on for a week."
