Status: offline 		hangin in there greedy still have not heard anything if i have been listed on the transplant list

will call the case worker tomorrow monday to see if they have any news

there are not enough people who list their organs for transplant when they die just not enough to go around

last year there were a 1000 who died because they could not get a lung or lungs

just a bummer

so everyone if u could put urself on the donation list for organ transplant

i thank u all ahead of time

Well, unfortunately even though my organs are still quite healthy....mine are unacceptable if I added my name to the organ donor's list. Bad enough can't even donate blood!

Snappy,

I am on the blood donor lists, the bone marrow lists, and the organ donor lists.  I have also had the "match tests" done for it. 

I hope that you get your transplant soon.

Status: offline 		I have a dear close friend who's on the list for a kidney and even though I offered one of mine, when we talked to the health care people they told me because I am not hetero, my blood nor my organs are viable even though I can prove my blood and organs are clean and relatively healthy!

Status: offline 		that should not make a differnce if the organs are clean and the one who is gonna recieve them is compatible and they will not have any complications but one never knows even if it is an ideal match what might happen and some complication might come up and she might reject them even after all of the care has been taken to make sure it is as close to a match as possible

Status: offline 		bear - that is just SO wrong!  I really wish that they would change the system where you have to sign if you DON'T want to donate your organs. spouse and I both carry "Mutual Organ Donation" cards - I carry his and he carries mine.  I don't know much enforcement it has, but for peat's sake.

Why don't the just ask for white middle aged DDF virgins!

I am a donor they can take anything useful when I'm done with it.
