y'know the kama sutra doesn't work if there's not a male to practice on.

and i know i need a holiday/break if i walk out of a quilting shop without buying fabric. i know i have a fever if i can wander around without touching fabric. and if i actually walk PAST a shop...... i get myself to the ER

i can bypass book shops here. a standard book costs $17 easily. softcover. i like the 2nd hand bookshops better.

So far, so good. We had hail already (about the size of that crushed ice from QuickTrip) and now it seems to be a thunder and lightening storm. A little bit of water leaking into the basement from the wall, but that is just because of all the rain. Serenity is on the SciFi channel, so it is just a matter of waiting the time out. Only three and a half hours to go of the watch. Although last nights storm caused a huge-ass log to break off of one of the trees and it broke off my driver's side mirror on my car. I am surprised that there was no other damage. So, it looks like I will be spending tomarrow figuring out where one buys a car mirror. (auto-parts store maybe?)

I should probably call and check on the Groundhog as the storms are in his area as well.

Rain... www.elann.com just saying.....

OMG do NOT talk to me about jewellery!! I tell myself that I have ENOUGH and it is SO TRUE. And, now that I ditched 20 pounds, a lot more of my rings fit me. Another 20, and hey! The fact that I have no nice sapphires is PURELY INCIDENTAL.

I guess I can't ask any of you why getting rid of books feels like an amputation? I did manage to hive off a few more paperbacks. And I have made the Executive Decision to get a bookcase for the basement. Just a crappy five foot one. I have the space cleared! No, I do not have the space for the yarn, the vintage Barbie stuffs, the vintage handbags... and the Sorting Of The Beads... well, I might need some timbits to get me through that.

Lady H, we have JUST the container-y thing-ys for sorting and storing beads. The other half uses them for some of his D&D minis. How many Orcs does one person need? I mean REALLY! Unfortunatly I do not think that I can fit anymore bookcases in my basement. I do wish that I had someplace to put all my dolls. I have several hand-made ones. You cast and then fire them and then paint them and then fire them and then make their clothes, kind. I did not make them, but they were hand-made. No where to put them though. *sigh*

I think that all the storms have passed through. It has not been raining for some time now. The tornado watch has ended early even though the flash flood watch is still on.
