Ya, I agree, Aylee... apparently I'm Lumus' first partner that can actually keep us in budget and not spend the rent money on selfish things. As for the abuse, I know the person and think it was a cop-out to make people sympathetic for her. It's the crap she does every single day.

That just makes no sense to me. The rent money is for rent. Not for anything else. The utility money is for utilities. Not for anything else. And so it goes. Now the grocery money can be tweaked with. Fix less expensive meals for most of the week so that you can have a nice meal out. No problem.

And whatever happened to slowly setting money aside so that you can buy whatever it is that you want? I know that I usually get a little bit of money at Christmas and my Birthday from a couple relatives (Do not get too excited as it only around fifty dollars total.) and I keep it to spend on something that I might want but is not in the budget. You know, those. . . I want this but I do not want to wait to have it. . kinds of things. That is the reason that they gave it to me in the first place. . . for a rainy day.

I don't know. I cannot understand why it is so hard to understand that we cannot have everything we want right this moment.

And now I am rambling.

Naaaaaaa, yer preaching to the choir, not rambling!

Lumus and I live on the premise that if we can't pay cash now for it, that means we can't afford it. Yes, we have to save for a few things (like the root beer smelling brand new computer) or plan for them in the future but that's life. We can't get everything we want right now, when we want it. Besides, that ruins some of the anticipation, no?

To be polite about it, the person I was referring to has "issues". Serious issues.
