Status: offline 		So. . . . my grandfather is in the hospital again.  This happens about twice a year.  My mother, on giving me the news, goes into 'nurse-speak'.  So, I am sitting here thinking. . .  Do I need to make travel arrengments? 

How in the hell do you ask, "Is he dying this time?"

Second question, "What in the hell did you just say to me?"  I understood the O2 thing. . . what was the rest? 

I had to explain that I did not get my degree in nursing.  Basic chemistry, I know. . . I have no clue what the rest was.

Apparently he is not going to die today.

And she got an A in her English class.

I am happy that your grandfather is better, alluring one.  I will admit to doing the same thing your mom did...I've had my family members ask me what I thought they had going on with their shoulder/neck/stomach/whatever and I tend to go into the "big health" words that I paid someone to teach me when I went to Dr school.  I don't know what it is...whether it is because they are family or ?????

Status: offline 		  Sooooo, for good or bad, I think I get to start seriously challenging holly for her Queen of Klutz title. I apparently broke my left foot and 2 toes tonight, slamming them into a chair.

(It was all those private lessons she gave, y'know......)

Status: offline 		Thorny, i think you can do a NVIS using a whip antenna like the one in this article - see figure M-9.  i don't know how well it works on the move.
