Thanks for all that typing! i, for some reason, was trying to find something sentimental as opposed to utilit....utilita....wtf...useful/practical.

i think, perhaps, i need to retune my giftgiving thoughts to male as opposed to female priorities. 15 yrs of lesbian and family gift giving has made me over think things. i keep flashing back on the xmas when i got my engagement ring from Denise and she got.....colorful socks with individual toes.

Hes a very solid, straightforward kind of guy....he told me what to get him. i, in my infinite wisdom, have determined that he doesnt know what he really wants, and that i can get that perfect thing that makes him realize that hes been wrong for 48 years about himself.

While im not getting him gunpowder (unless its a stocking stufffer)....i think that all of your suggestions are right on course for what i should do. As per usual, you have been right on target!

perse may have to add you to the list of folks that she grumbles about for always being exactly right, 100% of the time

I like a little chocolate on occasion, it just wouldn't be my first choice for sweet things. I am a big fan of the bread puddings, custards, creme brulee stuff. Yeah I know, carb overload with the bread pudding but damn I could eat that all the time, I love it.

Nothing to worry about, really....as i admitted this am, i tend to think cm people "are" their avatar pics....that the people from Friends actually *are* friends of mine....my mythical explanation of how audio tapes really work....on and on and on....

Status: offline 		afternoon all...i can't stay long have to leave in less than an hour to get to work.

i have a similar Christmas dilemma..hubby was easy to buy for, he actually already laid claim to his gifts, TomTom and blueray player, Master on the other hand is impossible, He had the odasity to tell me not to buy Him anything unless i cleared it through Him first...so on to making Him something...not enough time to knit Him a scarf, and He doesn't eat any type of bread type of products, so baking Him anything is out. Older kids are getting gift cards, the one still at home had a short list this year, now to deciding on i the puppy is going to be live or stuffed and he wants some leggos and knex. the grandson is 4 so he is easy, i'll get him some books, cars and those big leggos.

so back to what to get Master?

Status: offline 		involves either buying Him something or sending my digital copies, and as he is an ex-cop, don't think that would work well, and He doesn't like to read fiction

He is making things difficult


i thought about an addition to His toy box as well, but He recently had to pack it all up and hide it due to workmen coming to His place, it took 20 suitcases to pack them all lol don't think He needs any additions there.

He is a clothes and shoe whore as well (even though He won't admit it, He has more shoes than my whole house and we have 4 people including my mother-in-law who NEVER throws away anything and myself, a self confessed shoe whore) so that's out of the question. i'm at a loss.
