And if the LoudOne reacted to an empty salad bowl, or had a fit because someone recieved a gift HE wanted, he would have been taken to a corner for a well deserved time-out.

Status: offline 		well, holly, attention is attention whether it's negative or positive. sounds like it's a long running issue between her brother and her and he's winning out on the attention scale.

like you said, holly, sadly it will probably be years before she grows up enough to appreciate family and by then they will be LONG over her.

i have a sister much like that. she's worn out her welcome at even the most patient family members houses.

Our family is a lot more stable than in past years, thats for sure, and we concentrate more on emotional stability and consideration and respect for the family unit than in years past...but even in our hayday....we wouldnt have allowed that kind of bs to interfere with things....i wonder, i got nauseated and couldnt go back to look...did she stay home and pout or did she go...and pout?

I am surprised she did not call a lawyer to press charges for emotional abuse. I mean...how DARE they run out of salad?

Status: offline 		christmas day was nice and low key. cousin with her 3 teen sons and hubby had me over. unlike some people, i brought over lots of foodstuffs

cherries, mango and pineapple never got eaten, so they came back home with me. breakfast, lunch and dinner!!

boxing day has been positively decadently quiet. only excursion made was to feed a friend's cats while she's out of town.

how'd the family visits go? you seemed to be looking forward to them?
