As someone who works in research, the sample size in this study is -way- too small to make any kind of verifiable conclusions from the statistics. 8 couples isn't even enough to make a valid -inference- from, though this might be sufficient for an interesting aside and some future, more extensive studies. No comment on the issue of subs in a dom's bed. Being a female, and an excruciatingly light sleeper, I'm outside the sample structure (speaking of which -- this won't be a valid study until matched with same-gender couples who also share a bed, to see if sleep is affected more for one partner than another in same-gender pairings as well, which might suggest other reasons than gender for the stress hormone and aptitude test results). I suspect that sleeping with -anyone- would screw with my sleep patterns -- but I manage with my Darling. Calla Firestorm
