That's probably a wise move, being married with two or three men on the side of that won't leave the best impression when you are courting or trying to get intimate with someone. People are funny that way.

Thanks for pointing out how petty and weird you still are by purposefully quoting ONE line out of a whole thread to try to represent me as deliberately dishonest and misleading when the whole thread is about being honest to a fault.  Class, as usual.

Before this thread goes to hell, I do want to thank you for answering My earlier question, Aakasha.  I was curious if perhaps, since you mentioned that the person you were referencing hadn't read your profile.

By the way, it certainly was an interesting thread and a good discussion.

Thanks - but the thread doesn't have to end.  I won't respond to any of his follow up attacks or "baiting" so it will not escalate.  If this discussion has any more juice in it, I'd be interested in seeing it through.

Satirizing someone juggling multiple men and trying to keep all of them in line and in their place (while being married, no less) seems pretty tame and obvious.
[Such a situation is not geared toward a smooth ride.]

Truly, I didn't know the theme here (when the thread was started, it was not obvious) was akin to the circus question of how many clowns might comfortably fit into a volkswagon. I really can't wait to read more about this.

-------------

On the other hand I'm also thinking of Luckyalbatross: "You don't need a stable of partners, you need stable partners." (She must not have been a fan of drama.....)

Shit can spin out of control.

Your story reminds of the following Poly term "Cowboy."

Cowboy. Somebody who figures that these alternative relationships are unstable, and consciously or unconsciously tries to pull one of the partners off into a monogamous relationship with themselves. References "cutting a filly out of the herd".

In your case the cowboy used his freedom to switch horses.

I won't speak for anyone else, but with some, yes, it can be a smooth ride.  With others, it can be an absolute disaster.  The last line that you wrote is absolutely fitting.  It DOES depend on the stability of the people involved, everyone knowing exactly what their place is, and avoiding the things you had written in your prior comment including the four categories.

It really isn't that unusual for a female Dominant to have a number of different play partners.  At any given time, I'll have a number of other folks that I play with (S/m) in addition to My boy as well as being married.  I've never had some of the problems discussed in this thread with those who were on a play only basis, but I have had it from a couple of male submissives.
