I admit this weekend will be all about recovery. My birthday gift from my Sweets will be picked up tomorrow. So...... I admit all weekend we will be watching Star Wars movies on Bluray. He got me the whole box set. And after we go get all of our belongings out of the Bronco, we will be relaxing in front of the tv. :) I can't wait

I admit that I would like to be doing that right now, not that today has been remotely stressful since I have accomplished virtually NOTHING AT ALL. [>:] I admit that this weekend will be another not very restful one, Saturday is the communion thingy with the faux nephew and later a party with pervs, Sunday up at some ungodly hour for an airport run, then possibly meeting a new victim in the afternoon. ALL I WANT TO DO IS SLEEP UNTIL I WAKE UP FOR ONE FREAKIN DAY!! ~~dramatic wail of drama!~~ On other fronts, the weather is beautiful and my hair colour is perfect esp when the light hits it. It's good to be a Scarlet O'Hair-a again!

I admit that I am feeling some pain at the site where they burn my nerves. I got a big bandage on my lower back/bum. I admit that Mom cooked me breakfast for dinner. The bacon at the spine hospital made me hungry all day. I admit that the nurses got me a Coke for recovery, along with Oreos. I admit that I get the house to myself this weekend. I have to test the DVD player to see if it is working and I have the entire TV series of the Addams Family to watch. I admit that I want someone to give me a Amazon gift card so I can order a book by Terry Brooks. My birthday is June 12th (hint, hint). I admit that I got another afghan to work on but since this one is for me, I am not going to rush it.

How long before you know the results of the surgery, Shar? I admit I ordered more yarn...some Colinette in "my" colourway (lagoon, blues & greens) and a kit for a Rowan cardi taht I literally have wanted to make since the pattern came out in 2004. I know, i[8\|] am addicted.

i admit that i bought 3 skeins of different colors of 100% Peruvian wool. i admit that i will make them into soakers. i admit that i have to felt them before they are usable as soakers. i admit that my youngest is using cloth diapers on her 6 month old. i admit that wool breathes more than plastic ever will.

I admit that I cannot fathom using cloth diapers, but they do have services, right? (Memories of laundry and bottle sterilizing...) I admit that we're having a terrific thunderstorm! Lots of lightning and noise! Eta: i have the google earth app on my phone and it's such fun! It actually puts a location dot over my bedroom, not just the house generally! I'm having fun doing an aerial recon of the local woody areas.

Hibbie - it's ridiculously popular to use cloth nappies now. It's quite 'fashionable'. I know quite a few mum's at work who do it. I don't know if there are services there, but here, the mum's wash and do it all themselves. (With how expensive and albeit cute they are, I wouldn't trust a laundry service either). I admit I fail at friendship. I went to sleep at 11am, to have a 1 hour nap, get up and have lunch with a friend. I slept till 6:30pm. I slept through my alarm and 3 phonecalls. The only thing that woke me up was Skype's maintenance call. I admit night duty tends to do this to me. I literally have no life for 5 days. [&o]

I admit that the waiting time is 2 to 3 weeks to see if I am pain free. There is some pain now, its just waiting for the nerves to die that is the catch. I admit that one of the nurses loved my eyelashes and fingernails. All naturally grown...LOL! I admit that we do the left side on the 17th. I admit that the peach jelly did not take, so we got pint jars of peach syrup instead. Lizard gets a jar when I go visit her at the end of June/beginning of July. Cloth nappies are massively more ecologically sound than disposibles - I read somewhere that disposibles are one of the biggest contributors to landfill sites because of their bulk. They're also a lot cheaper which is a big factor for some of us - the cleaning is just something you gotta do...

I admit that i finally did give in and am letting the hubby help with the UM because i have to do stuff that i cant do and pay attention to UM at same time. I admit that i am not excited about this but i am ready for it to be over with so that i can get all meds back and get back in service and my life back. I admit that i am finishing up here soon so that i can do my school work i promise.
