I agree with Beerbug... it is not a happy political climate anywhere.

And, I was stuck listening to The Iron Lady the other night and it was fucking terrifying. Thatcher could easily be one of our Republican candidates. Except she was smarter... I would toss in that quote about "the more thinchange", but it doesnt seem like they changed that much!

I admit that I missed my Jed waking me up and sharing parrot joy with me. I can't wait to retrieve him tonight!

I admit I got my surgery done and I'm home! Woohoo!

I admit that Littlewonder had better chill for a week or so, all that skin has to get happy!

I admit that my brrrdie is home and happy. First thing he did when he saw me was stick his beak out for kisses. Hot pepper beak = tingly lips for me!

I admit I should but I hate to look outside the window and think of all the thing I could be doing instead of sitting in the house going stircrazy. I hate to sit around doing nothing on days when I feel perfect except for some pain from the operation.

I admit i fully understand that one, as my physio just banned another lot of exercise.

I also admit that 6 months down the line im going to be blamed for putting on weight.

The one good that might come out of this is an MRI scan, that could actually tell me what is causing the problems.

I admit I had a very quiet night at work which made me super tired. Slept. Woke up. Did stuff on to do list. Slept a bit more.

I admit I hope work is good tonight. 19 shifts to go. 34 sleeps to go.

I admit I am glad littlewonder's surgery went well. As much as it might be boring, rest as much as you need to. It will help your body heal.

I admit that I might have pissed a few people off at the supermarket.

Stella feels thirsty so Stella decides for a change to get a 2 litre bottle of Diet Dr Pepper. Feeling even thirstier standing in line Stella decides to open up the 2 litre Diet Dr Pepper and take a swig.

Stella then accidentally drops the 2 litre Diet Dr Pepper onto the floor. Upon impact with the floor of the supermarket said 2 litre bottle of Diet Dr Pepper suddenly becomes a psychotic bouncing fire extinguisher.

The scene starts to resemble just after midnight is some mid-1980's disco with people ducking, jumping and dancing to avoid being sprayed. Stella gets drenched, as does the man in the suit behind and a few other people.

Exit Stella, hastily, from said supermarket.

I admit that Stella should avoid diet pop. Just saying. [;)]

I admit that the weather is purely horrible, and really what's typical of Michigan, grey skies and chilly rain. We got utterly spoilt by the sudden burst of early summer. I am still pouting.

I admit that I want to do something adventurous this fall, not sure what.

I admit the itching is starting from the healing from surgery but it hurts to try and itch it.
I admit it will be nice to finally be able to take a shower tomorrow.
I admit I'm a little afraid to remove the bandages and see what's underneath.
