I admit I had my first day at my team leader post [:)]
I admit I enjoyed it even when it will be a huge difference to my previous posts [:)]
I admit the staff I am working with in my group won't be able to start until 1st October as she isn't able to leave her post before then, but due to not having all kids during the current holidays and with the overall boss helping out at my group until then, we will be able to manage [:)]
I admit it feels strange to know I will be off at work aaaaaaaaaaallllll public holidays....and xmas (24th december) as well as the 31st december [:)] cause I am used to argue about who will be working xmas and who will be working new year and in quite a few years I ended up working at both [8|]
I admit I already know my days off in december into january (14 days) as well as in april, may and next year august....gosh that is sooooooooooooooooooo awesome and such a difference [:)]
I admit the staff at the other group drove me crazy big time today....so I am grateful that she isn't in my group...
I admit whilst we are working together in her group for the next 7 shifts (due to having only about half the amount of kids) she tried to implement petty rules over both groups (eg to store certain items in closed cupboards and that kids musn't access them)...where I made clear to her, that the rules she is trying to decide now, aren't ones we are going to discuss about having the same in both groups...cause yes...there are certain rules which are valid for each group....but how we decorate and organise our groups are the decision from each group and there quite frankly...she ain't having a say in my group...that shit she can try to do with her team leader which is joining us tomorrow but certainly not with me...[>:]
I admit I hate putting my feet down but learned in the last years that with some people it is important to do it right from the start [:)]
I admit I will be off to bed soon cause I have an early start tomorrow at 7am [:'(] (usually i work 10am to 6pm but not during holiday seasons)...
I admit - at last - I found one store today which has got the kitchen top which I want for my kitchen...so I am going to check out on the others in the next days in case they don't have that one anymore when we buy it in 4 weeks time...cause with my dad I can't demand on checking several stores....there I have to know ahead which ones have it and which ones don't...as otherwise he goes mad and I end up with one I don't like just to keep the peace [8|]
