Thank you LadyH...it will require a different mindset cause now I work with parents who care about there kids...and pay for their care...whereas before they were often happy to be freed of their kids by us and most of the time didn't earn enough to having to contribute to the costs....but I am happy to be out of shift work for now...after 13 years of it [:)]

I admit my cats might think now, that I am a stay at home mum (to them) [:D] with being at home every night [:)]

I admit, that it is a "POS" car and it won't impress anyone or turn any heads... but my son finally finished the engine tear down and rebuild and I am proud as hell to say MY SON FUCKING BUILT THIS!!!

Still need to replace the struts and the interior definitely shows it's age but MY SON FUCKING BUILT THIS!!! and when he handed me the keys and he rode with me for it's test run and got back to his place, I looked at him and smiled and told him I was proud of him and impressed with everything he did to get it running... I will remember the look on his face until the day I fucking die and go to hell.

Did I mention that MY SON FUCKING BUILT THIS!!! yet?

Yep. his first one by himself... he has been nervous as hell, he has been working on it since I got back "for me" and I rarely ever have praised my kids... I am hardest on those I love unfortunately but when I do praise them for something, they know I mean it. He is 20, has had a lot of fucking issues but he wants to be a mechanic and I keep trying to get him to go back to school for it.

I am so fucking proud of him right now... he knows his shit.

Very proud... it is a 90 Legacy, like I said, POS... but he built it!!! He has an 85GL that he wants to put an STI engine into, which will be insane.

He is a good one...
