I have to admit, Im very happy today, I thought I would be attending the womens march in Toronto today, but I wont, I got a call last night about 11, saying that my hubby was coming home on a day pass:) He is supposed to be home tuesday, and has more stays to go thru, but he is able to come home this weekend as he is stable, and his meds only needed every 8 hours.
Im so excited:) weeeeeeeeeee

He turned up an hour early catching me unawares, oh it was so good to have him home, even for a few hours...he will be back tomorrow, its our daughters 31st tomrrow, so we are having a small party.
Far too soon it was time to take him back, but for those seven hours it was LOVELY.
I think he will sleep well tonight:)

I admit that I am still sending warm thoughts out for winsome (and any one of you tell anyone that I am actually wishing someone well or doing anything that could be remotely considered nice, I will hunt you down and lock you in a room with nothing to eat but taco bell and nothing to drink but prune juice!)

I admit that I overslept today, by two freaking hours.
I admit I am at a loss as to why dogs who are smart enough to open doors, change the channel on the tv using the remote (seriously) but too damn dumb to use a paw to turn on a freaking coffee pot

I admit that it is good that the Dallas Cowgirls are no longer in the playoffs.

I admit that I hope Greenbay gives Atlanta a royal ass whupping that will make their great great grandkids have problems sitting down
I admit that I hope the Pittsburgh Stinkers lose by at least 98 to 0

I admit that the pneumonia/biblical respiratory plague seems to be coming back....
I admit that Munchmonster has to have his tonsils, adenoids and tubes put in his ears because he has had six ear infections in the last four months
I admit the doctor actually agreed that it is probably the same infection that has not actually cleared up by the time the antibiotics are finished, stating there seems to be a infection that is partially antibiotic infection showing up, at least in his opinion.

On a lighter note:

I admit that I may have to add "Sub must be able and willing to tell her dom (me) that he is no longer 20 to 30 years old and therefore cannot do the same stupid shit without thinking that he used to without paying a painful price."
I admit that regardless of age, human males tend to do stupid shit regularly.
I admit that in this instance, I disregarded doctor's orders and played with Kera (85 pound wolf hybrid) without the knee stabilizer on.
I admit that the PA at the ER agreed that the knee cap is NOT supposed to be at an angle on the side of the knee joint.
I admit that getting body slammed by an 85 pound wolf hybrid is not conducive to maintaining a stable stance near a 10 foot drop into a pond.
I admit that falling ten feet into a pond and hitting the bottom knee first does not feel that good.
I admit that 38 degree water is not very comfortable.
I admit that Kera has now developed the habit of sitting next to my bed with the knee stabilizer in her mouth when the alarm goes off.

I admit that Kera has to be the reincarnation of my mother or possibly the Fiance I lost to a drunk driver, either way she is beginning to be a nag.

I admit that I am thrilled that Lucy got to have her Hubby home for the weekend

I admit that today is the second time that I've been out of my house this year, and both times have been this last week. However, regardless of the fact that I'm exhausted I'm happy with my trip out. I only forgot a few things, managed to get two things I've been after for a while, and then someone I met was charming, and wants to take me dancing ... I mean real dancing

I admit that I just made a batch of America's Test Kitchen Chocolate Chip cookies and I don't like them.

I'm going back to my tried and true recipes.

Tomorrow I propose to make naan. Assuming I sleep well tonight, which lately has not been the case.

I admit that I made my aunt's lasagna tonight, and being that she came from a large Sicilian family, I now have about 5 pounds of lasagna in the freezer.

I admit the only stuff that I did not make were the noodles and cheese, everything else was homemade (the sauce had been cooking since yesterday morning in two slow cookers.)

I admit I got a proper telling off two days ago when I suggested to my Coach to start again...sort of now...yeah I know he is right but I simply do miss it and cant wait until I can finally start again in march...but I will hate the fact that he won't let me take part on the Crossfit games this year 😢 Yeah I know it is petty moaning but it is an awesome event in our box each year and I hate it not taking part😔😔😔
