Sorry Phoenix, but 4:00 AM is a baby's idea of waking up. Horrible time of day.

Hey, Lucy, did you see - Sydney Crosby made 1,000 points,

I admit I am knacked big time...

I admit UM is a lovely lil one but jeeesh...she doesnt quite grasp the concept that 4-6am is bedtime...NOT jolly party time...

I admit I will be off today to a patchwork course with my sewing maschine...not quite sure that I will fit in there with my knowledge but heck...in worst case scenario it was a mistake to get on there today but I will still give it a try...

I admit it, it said to have sewing or patchwork experiences...well...I have a bit of sewing experiences...just dont know if it will be enough for her in that course...lol...but anyhow, it will be good to get that little bit of me-time for a change I guess...

I admit the snow is finally melting here, thank god...

I admit I am not a snow person and this january and half of february we had way too much snow for our likes....so it is refreshing that the sun comes out...

I admit in march sport (PT and Crossfit) will finally start again for me but my coach still makes a big deal out of it about how much of a deal it will be to build me up for sports again after that cesarean...but annoyingly doesnt spill the beans about the restrictions which he will put on me in the beginning...

I admit if he wouldnt have had at least 3 others in my situation last year I would say he doesnt spill it cause he hasnt got a clue himself yet...but I know that this isnt the case...

I admit I guess he just wants to avoid me to moan already ahead of the sessions with him about the boring re-start this year...

I admit I was naive to think I could just continue again with the sport where I stopped it before her birth...

I admit originally I also expected a 6 weeks break before her delivery and 6 weeks afterwards...and in reality it were now 6 and a half months

I admit I am exercising patience with me as after all I am happy about my little bean here, as of course, she is worth it, but nevertheless...I just want to continue to throw the weights around at Crossfit in the way I used to do it last year...but it seems thats not gonna happen until may or so...hrmpf...will wait and see how it goes in march but am better prepared for a rather boring start at sport...

I admit my coach also said yesterday that I have to tell him next week what my doctor told me about working out again (if I may or may not start again yet) and not to tell him what I would want the doctor to have said...(so not to tell him the doctor said it is fine to do so when it isnt)...hrmpf...come one, after all the wrong diagnoses they gave me in regards to my lil bean here I cant trust them when they claim I wouldnt be ready for sports...cause that certainly would be wrong diagnosis again...but anyhow...as my tummy wasnt that huge actually I know I will get the green light...so I will certainly start again in march for fuck sake...I am sacrificing enough now that I am not allowed to take part on the crossfit games workouts...*sulk*

I admit that you seem to think a c section is minor surgery, it isn't. Your body needs time to heal correctly, and at the moment you are still only at the creating scar tissue stage that could still burst open under undue stress. Your instructor knows exactly what he's talking about. I had a hysterectomy done 10 years ago, and was told to do virtually nothing for twelve weeks, but because I had horses that involved heavy lifting I should be careful for at least six months to give my body time to correctly heal. You may not have had your womb removed, but you've had it sliced open, and well as your abdomen, and everything else involved. Give yourself a break and just enjoy your daughter whilst you can. She is far more important than how soon you can work out again.

Take the damn Zyban. It eliminates cravings. Of course, your lungs probably won't fully recover anyway. My mother in law smoked till her forties, and developed emphysema in her 60's. She's now dependent on oxygen and can't do anything that she used to enjoy

Zyban is actually another name for Bupropion, an anti depressant, and an maoi and thus not recommended to be taken by anyone on blood pressure medication, which I am.

strike one

Bupropion is also linked to onset diabetes, and complicating the treatment of anyone already diagnosed with diabetes.

strike two, I am considered borderline diabetic and control sugar with diet.

Bupropion is also known to have adverse affects in people with bipolar disorder and PTSD

Strike three.

Now, as for the health risks associated with smoking, while there is a causality link there, it is not 100%, hence the key word 'may' in all warning labels.

I agree that smoking is not good for you, but then neither is eating lots of red meat, drinking excessive amounts of caffeinated drinks, or for that matter breathing the air in 90% of the heavily populated urban areas around the world.

When you consider the chemical toxins you are exposed to on a daily basis, the ONLY way you can be assured to live in a non toxic atmosphere with near zero risk is somewhere so far removed from civilization that the atmospheric contaminants from modern civilization falls below 100 parts per million.

Which, unfortunately is no where on the planet outside a sealed habitat.

Zyban is not an MAOI but can raise blood pressure in some people.
Since nicotine can raise blood pressure that may be a neutral point... plus it is a relatively short-term drug for smoking cessation.
Also, I know people who take it for bipolar disorder (along with other meds).

Since it can actually drop appetite it may cause blood sugars to go down.

I took it for bipolar disorder and PTSD.

And to be brutally honest, it helped about as much as dropping a hammer on my toe. Like all anti depressants, no one knows exactly why it works for some and not others.

It may suppress appetite, but still has been linked to diabetes in patients with no family history of diabetes, and it really screws with other medications.

Trust me, I been dealing with Bipolar disorder and PTSD for a long time. And it was not until I got really proactive with my doctors about medication that I actually began to see improvement.

Blood pressure medications and the majority of anti depressant medications and mood stabilizers do not play well with each other.

Most bipolars find adding a SSRI tricky. It will help one but cause hypomania in the next and so on.

You mean the rules that nobody else seems to follow? And putting the word 'kindly' before fuck off doesn't make you any nicer.

Well there's the thing sweetheart, I wasn't actually trying to be nice. You see I have had enough of you giving me your unsolicited comments and advice, that is usually poor anyway, and psychobabble. It's bad enough when it's on the rest of the boards, but in here you need to hush your mouth. I'm not the only one to have told you this.

The very fact that you're still yapping on, having been asked to STOP, should show you how much your own ego is at work. So maybe you should take your own advice and get that thing on a choke chain.

Again, FUCK OFF! and telling you that is making me feel just dandy actually

Blimey no. It's completely unrelated to this site. I was merely trying to let off steam from elsewhere, but now I have Tamaka sticking her ore in where it's most certainly unwelcome.

Sorry for any confusion that may have been caused

No, it's really not. You don't get to justify your actions just because I wasn't allowing you to have control over my emotions, so seriously, sod off and leave me alone.

You're like a bad bitch in heat after my son's stud dog, that you're not good enough to get get. You just don't know when to quit.
